I think Cassie did this to show the world that all is good between Emily and her. If Emily is cool with her she probably wasn't overt upset with Arie. They dated a while ago.

^ Yeah, Arie and Cassie dated back in 2003 (I think??), so if I were Em, it wouldn't bother me. It's not like Cassie is Emily's sister or best friend even.

And just because Arie made it far it doesn't mean she had him in mind for F1. You have to take 4 to the end and you know that at least 2 of them are not contenders and probably only one stands out at this point.

We really don't know the depth of manipulation either. We have a good idea but Arie could easily have been marked to go far from the start.
