Hi Iam4UGA :WAVEY: ! Like I said up thread, South GA here!

I've tried not to pick a favorite preseason. But from everything we found out about Ryan, he was/is top of my list (before finding out who F4 were). Now I'd say Chris and Sean both are my top picks out of the F4. But all that's subject to change once we see everyone's personalities !

Someone questioned on one of the threads why the "good ones" - nice looking, good character, etc. are still single on the Bachelor.

It brought to my memory Meredith's F2 Matt who was the fan favorite over the swash-buckling, adventure, wandering, but hot Ian who had trouble telling her he would commit.

Matt, on the other hand, had no trouble telling her he what he would give to her. In a poll, 80 something percent chose Matt. Meredith, of course, chose Ian.

Within a couple of years, we saw online pictures of Matt's engagement and maybe wedding to a gorgeous tall (looked like a model type girl) who sounded like she had the same kind of Christian belifs that he did.

Maybe all it took was the exposure from the Bachelor. Who knows?

Ali Fedotowsky: Emily Maynard "Deserves to Find Love" on The Bachelorette

Having already gone through the Bachelorette experience, Ali Fedotowsky knows just what new leading lady Emily Maynard is up against -- and Fedotowsky says she is just right for the gig.

"Emily is amazing! She's such a sweetheart," Fedotowsky -- who recently split from her 2010 Bachelorette love match Roberto Martinez -- told Us Weekly at our annual Hot Hollywood bash Wednesday at Greystone Manor in West Hollywood. "If anyone deserves to find love, it's her."

Though fans were first introduced to single mom Maynard, 26, on Brad Womack's season of The Bachelor when she fell for the clean-cut winemaker, Fedotowsky hints Maynard's spinoff season may be a little different.

Dining at Italian eatery Osso with a contestant identified by show insiders as 31-year-old Ryan Bowers, Maynard later danced the night away with the Atlanta-based gym owner at a Gloriana concert.

"She looked happy, like she was having a nice time," an eyewitness told Us after their date. Still, the witness says, "Emily didn't kiss Ryan at the end of the song. She just gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek."

Seems to me that the show is going the route of downplaying the Ryan-Emily connection even so far as to take the lack-of-chemistry route. It's interesting to me that they released this tidbit at this point in the pre-season.

That's more about Tabloid recycling of info, than anything to do with any concerted effort by TPTB to do anything with Ryan. Ryan is out of the game. There is no reason for them to downplay anything with him and Emily. US magazine can't even keep up with the fact that Brad was a bar owner and it was Ben who was the winemaker. When they have a tiny bit of new quotes but, no real scoop for an article they recycle info from previous articles. That's where the Ryan 1st date witness quotes came from. They just needed something to flesh out the article because it would be a couple of sentences just based around the Ali quote, which was the only new info. It has no relation to the show doing anything, just the magazine trying to make something out of the nothing they have.

MF tweeted on 3/15 (night before Ryan's first 1:1 that was on the 16th):

"Prediction: no first kiss for Emily til end of ep. 2, at the earliest..."

So to me I think he is saying he doesn't think Emily will kiss Ryan and that if she kisses anyone in ep. 2 it will be the guy on the second 1:1 date.

Not ruling Ryan out yet on the first kiss...could be that he still got the first kiss. But it was at the RC cocktail party. That way they'd have had a little more time together... I know reaching...and being he didn't make it as far as I would've liked for him to...need to get over it and be more supportive of the F4!

It was just a prediction from MF before she ever went on her date with Ryan. So while he felt she wouldn't kiss him it doesn't mean he was right either. She very well could have kissed him, but MF predicting that she wouldn't may explain why he didn't make it to F4. Then again, maybe not!

If it was at the RC cocktail party, she already had kissed Chris on their 1:1 date by then (FWIW, same first date as Courtney from last season)

That's right ...for some reason I was thinking Chris's date was epi 3, but it was in 2, wasn't it?! Sorry about that !
