I could be wrong but I think the edit was just because Paige fell hard very early for him. They had to do some hard core editing to hide it. It's a fun show. The guys in it were very entertaining & pretty much got along, but for Tex and Big City Shaun and even the country guys pretty much took Shaun's side.

I guess what makes me mad is that the show really cut a lot about Paige and Jeremiah and just focused on Bubba. While the CMT show isn't as 'trash tv' as the Bachelor/Bachleorette series, it really let me down with how it didn't celebrate actually having a couple from this season. The last 2 were totally fake or so short lived it didn't even make it a day after the finale aired.

However, it's still better than The Bachelor was, because of the guys. Paige made a great lead too.

I might leave this thread open so people who have not watched the finale yet can express their opinions about it. We are trying to organize the SHA Forum right now.

Paige has posted on her FB, that she will share a lot with us as to what went on behind the scenes and more about the love story we were cheated out of. I think she too feels slighted about the abrupt ending, and how she and JJ were edited, so i kinda feel like the producers where paying her back for not picking who they chose for her instead of her following her heart.
It will be interesting to see what all she has to say, as i feel she will share quite a bit and answer a
lot of questions fans have asked her.
Also Kreuger farms, is having a live chat with JJ and Paige Monday, hope some of ya'll can join and hopefully record it for the rest of us who will have to miss it.

ALso she posted an adorable pic of the two sticking there tongues out in response to some hater on twitter calling JJ a jerk and saying he will break Paige heart and she deserves it for not picking Bubba...can someone bring it over, it really is cute, there personalities are so in sync.

I have to wonder if I will watch next season.. They will have to pull somebody pretty special on there and if it's Bubba, then I can say for 100% that I won't be watching.. He may be a great guy, but I think the producers foundered me on him this season....

Here are some things that I noticed this season. Paige is what, around 25? Jeremiah 29 and Bubba 30? To me, Bubba came off acting a lot older than he really is and did we ever see a picture of him without his hat on? He could be bald under that hat, for all I know. While Bubba had no problems reading, I mean expressing his words of undying love to Paige, never once did I hear Paige say that she could look inside his soul like she could Jeremiah's and know what he was feeling.. Sometimes when you let your heart look instead of listening for words, that's when you will know more, than when the words are being said. If that makes any sense. Jeremiah wanted the first time he told her he loved her to be just between them and off camera. I don't blame him one bit for that. Although he did say it. ; ) :bigsmile: .

Had Jeremiah not been on the show, I think Paige could have been fairly happy with Bubba. Fulfilled? No, but to an extent, happy at least for a little while, then I think Bubba would have bored Paige to tears. I don't see Bubba as the happy go lucky, want to have fun, kind of man that Paige was looking for (Jeremiah) Sure, both of these guys works very hard, but Jeremiah knows it's important to leave time for a little fun and at their age that's important... Paige is way too young to be sat down in a rocking chair, on a front porch watching the babies play at her feet. Now there's not one thing wrong with living that kind of life if it's really what you're looking for and what will fulfill you for the time being and also for the rest of your life... I just didn't see that as the life Paige wanted right now from watching her the last two seasons on this show. I do think Paige found exactly what she was looking for and I do see a bright future between her and Jeremiah. I think they both found their soul mates and I pray that God will teach them how to keep this love going all the rest of their days..

Last, but not least Bubba isn't perfect and while there isn't anything wrong with a real cowboy to me, I just wasn't buying into the Bubba koolaide CMT was passing out/ forcing on me.. ..Towards the end of the show it was a HUGE turn off for me on Bubba's part and even tho he would love to be the AH big romantic that said Paige" just let me look into your eyes".. that was soooooo producer driven that I had to LOL while watching it the second time as I didn't really hear his words much the first time because I was still caught up in Paige and Jeremiah and was waiting to see more of them, but didn't get to. So no, I don't think I could stomach another season of Bubba being crammed down my throat as this perfect vision of a man that every woman would be lucky to have. I just didn't see that!! Plus we as women have differing taste.. IMO... Sorry so long of a post. . .

I think it's cool how Paige and Jeremiah were together for her job & that her job will be doing the live chat.

I saw the pic and yes, they are a perfect match!

You just captured my reaction perfectly. Thank you for stating so well, what I couldn't seem to quite find the words to express.

I'm sorry, but I liked Bubba. Was he the right one for Paige...no. But he is a more mature, settled man! Maybe he's not Mr. Excitement, but he's steady, and confident. And that's what he will find in a woman....a more mature, confident woman, who is ready to be a 'partner' in life. Ride the horses, pop out the babies, be a good little wifey! Some women WANT that!

Bubba was so NOT drama driven. JJ was much more emotional (like me) and that is what makes a relationship scary. The ups, the downs, the angst, the tears, the fears...and on and on.

With Bubba, what you see, is what you get. Confidence. He certainly is not gonna be the kind of guy to go cry in a corner, or take a swing at anyone. But he also won't take any crap.

I think he will make a good lead. And I will watch. He just needs women on the show in their late 20's, early 30's, ready to start life on a ranch...and rocking chair!

Oh, and I think the reason they always showed Paige and Bubba on chairs...so she didn't have to get real close to him. It made him keep his distance!! lol

I guess for me a "Real relationship" is about the ups and downs, the angst and excitement, the tears and fears, the happy and sad times etc. That is what real life is all about. What I see in Jeremiah was a man who for the first time in his life was scared, he had feelings for this woman that he never felt before or experienced before in past relationhships, he was real in that he questioned those feelings because of the setting he was in, when he was with Paige you could see and feel his raw emotion and the connection they had, it hurt him to see her on other dates with the other men and hear what they were doing, was it that he couldn't communicate NO, was he guarded absolutely, he wanted to be sure he was her chosen one before he shared his whole heart, can you blame him hell no. Dam the producers for cheating us out of alot of what went on but, by some of the pictures that they are sharing , it was over an done very early one...so i guess you gotta have a show for 10 episodes since that is what they commited too and from all i am hearing Bubba was the producers choice for her, NOT her choice.

Sure some would love supposed perfection as CMT would have us believe Bubba is...however my rose colored glasses came off log ago and realized alot of what he said was definitely producer driven as they knew Paige fell hard and fast for Jeremiah and she would not be told to pick someone she was NOT in love with. I say good for Paige for standing up to the producers and for following her heart, knowing it was the controversial decision.

I guess it depends on who is on the show, if Bubba is the lead. I didn't really care for the first two seasons, so we shall see! I just didn't like how badly they treated a REAL couple. The first two were treated way better and they didn't even last a day.

I finally figured out who Paige reminds me of: Rachel Campos from Real World SF. Wow, I just seriously dated myself.

I watched the SHA finale last night and daaaaaamn that Jeremiah is sexy. :) It's easy for me to understand why Paige was hooked on him from the moment they met. He's so my type it isn't even funny. Some women go for Brad Womack types, give me a Jeremiah! (Please!) lol

I didn't buy his cd but I listened to the samples on iTunes and watched the "Disposable" video on youtube. I'm impressed, he's talented.

So far it seems like Paige is supporting his music 100% and I hope that continues. She admitted to him that she needs a lot of reassurance, so she can't let jealousy get to her. Stay strong Paige! :) I wish them all the best, they're super cute together.
