I'm going to say this in both threads because I think my posts are misleading and ruffled a few feathers. I do not have a thing against race car drivers.... first of all. Do I think it's the best fit for Emily and lil Ricki, no I don't. But I'm not the one choosing. Emily is insecure at times and I'm not sure having a significant other who does a great deal of traveling and around alot of other women away from home would work well with Emily's personality. She was a kid when Ricky died, her world is now very very different when you add lil Ricki to the mix. It's JMO.

I think everyone will agree that we are all entitled to our own opinions, judgements, and impressions. We are allowed to think of any guy however we want :) that is the beauty of this board!

I hope I didn't offend anyone's feeling. I just hate seeing someone falling so hard either way, then get disappointed! I have a preseason favorite too, and it is fun to base it on looks and pics. But we all know our real work will start when we see them in action! group hug

Its always a good reminder, as I've been burned every season except with Tessa & JP. I like BHG for me, but definitely reserving judgment until I see his interactions with emily.

I've stopped trying to speculate how this season will play out because it's started to make my head hurt. We haven't seen ANY of these guys in action yet. To many "ifs" right now. I know I am guilty of taking the original light hearted story-telling post regarding this topic a little to far ... which only confused me more!

I remember I was all excited to watch Ben and Lindzi last season but when I saw their first date I was kinda bummed since I didn't really see anything there.

I am just so excited for this season to start or at least see a commercial :crazed

Honest to goodness, this part of the season is the MOST fun. It's purely attraction. Any desirable attribute that someone wants to put on one of these guys becomes as easy as playing dress-up with paper dolls. Snippets of their true personality come to the board as stills or videos or friends' testimonials. But we virtually know zilch about them except if they're HOT! It's awesome!

I'm enjoying myself: we all know that I'll obsessively overanalyze everything when the episodes start airing. Right now, I just appreciate all the pretty faces! They could have cheese curds between the ears and speak only in clucks and I'd still be smitten at this point in the season ;)

The eye candy seems great in this season and it really fun to speculate and drool over these guys. So looking forward to May !!!

I'm sorry if my original speculation about the "Ryan vs Arie season" upset anybody; I could be totally wrong and things will play out completely differently, with different guys entirely. It's just clear that these are the 2 guys who have caught our imaginations the most, based on very little info (pages in their threads far outpacing most anybody else), and I do think the producers' ideal is to end up with a F2 made up of the two most talked about/followed contestants. So I think that if they can sway Emily, they will be pushing her towards these 2 guys. Of course, she may have other ideas.

That said, based on what background info we DO have right now on all the guys, these 2 also seem, IMO, to have the most obvious areas of connection/compatibility with Emily, albeit for totally different reasons.

I was not upset whatsoever. I loved your scenario! I think that is what our imagination is for!
