I suspect after a season where they made the winner appear to be Satan's disciple (and since the lead is a real fan favorite this time), they aren't going to give either guy a horrible edit, but they'll still make the obstacles clear throughout the season. But they will not dig a deep enough hole so that depending on who she picks, that guy can't be redeemed in the end, so that the happy couple will not appear to have the whole world against them. Although let's be honest, there is ALWAYS some backlash. Hey, even sweet Roberto was bashed as the wrong choice.

Now after all this speculating, watch Emily pick Chris and Doug as her F2. Talk about anti climactic!

I needed that laugh! ITA, I think they'll both be edited good but with obstacles.

Or that mystery guy on the England Group Date who we still don't know, although some think it could be Tony or David.

FWIW my father was a race car driver, now long retired, and it never really effected our home life as kids. We sometimes went to race meetings, but usually we stayed at home with mum.

I just think it's a totally different situation for lil Ricki, an only child and her family, the Hendricks being the schnit of Nascar. I don't know alot about the family as in racing but to me this seems even more strange than Cassie being an ex. That doesn't bother me at all.

I really don't see what the Hendricks and Nascar has to do with it. IF Emily chooses Ari, I think she will be fine in the envionment she know a little about it already and is probably being raised to be proud of it.JMO

They are NOT going to paint the F2 very badly because then they will NOT stand a chance in Hades of talking him into being their next Bachelor - and let's face it. They have already told us loud and clear several times that is what they want to do. They want somebody from the prior season that has become well known to the fans - and preferably well liked ("fan favorite" if they can get him).

This is exactly one reason why they more times than not try to do this big misleading job ( among other sadistic reasons) on who is really the F1. They will build up this wonderful edit on the wrong guy. The majority of fans fall in love with that guy, and :overreaction: , but wait! What?? The one that everyone fell in love with - Mr. Wonderful - will hopefully agree to become the next Bachelor, and all of his fans will see a whole season of the beloved guy as he tries his hand at finding his ladylove.

But not if they have marred his character with the edit too much...... :geek:

Speculating is good...just getting a kick out of how the 'other guys' have faded into obscurity! Watch out or CH's "dark horse" theory just might come true! NOT!

But ya know, the kicker is how bad his heart is broken and I do believe this one is gonna be tough for somebody. Better buckle your seatbelts cause this is gonna be one hell of a ride, I'm afraid. Hugesmile

Speculating is fine, but l wouldn't go too crazy just yet. You can't base what someone is like just because of their profession, whether it be race car driver or coach (I am sure there are plenty of good & bad in each).
We don't even know these guys yet. Let's at least see them on the first night to see if we think they are wrong for Emily.

Now yes, I am sporting a blue hoody avi, mostly out of fun from when we couldn't figure out who he was. Right now, he is my fav, but I can certainly change my mind to think he's a total jerk, as I could Ryan, or any of the others.
