According to the article, he had a fight with his ex 12 years ago that ended in a near suicidal episode and discharging a shotgun into the ground. He was ordered by the courts to complete a drug/alcohol rehabilitation program and the charges of reckless endangerment were dropped. So, technically, if what I understand of the law is correct, he has a police record but not a criminal record. Anyone have anything else to add based on the article in Star?

It happened 12 years ago. :hidingchair Now according to what he stated last night, he has "full custody" of his son. If he was a threat to society he would not have custody of his son.

Brad Womack had an arrest record which was press fodder for only a few weeks. In my mind passing a bad check is not minor.

I just got the chance to catch up on this thread - so sorry to read this - it's got to be hard to have this thrown in your face after you've grown beyond it. He seems like such a good guy!

Agree, it's too bad that people can't seem to realize it was in the past. Everyone makes mistakes, but it's what you learn from them that matters. If he's learned from them then people need to move on.
