Speaking of the “Bachelor,” I can tell you that filming begins on September 15th. “That’s great and all Steve, but who is the next Bachelor?” Ahhhh, that seems to be the million dollar question right about now. I told you back in June that it was going to be Roberto. Yes, they have met and interviewed both Sean and Arie about the role as well, but I still haven’t heard anything solid enough that says it won’t be Roberto. So until I hear differently, I’ll say it’s him. Roberto is not dating anyone, that Star magazine story with quotes from that girl was all just tabloid fun, and I know he’s still talking to them as we speak. So any story that says, “It’s not Roberto because he has a girlfriend,” or “It’s not Roberto because he turned it down,” doesn’t know what they’re talking about. They’re still talking to Roberto and he’s still talking to them. I expect the official announcement to come within the next couple of weeks. If they plan on introducing the next “Bachelor” during the taping of the “Bachelor Pad” finale, then we’re looking at a little less than two weeks. If I hear differently, I’ll let you know. But this nonsense about them possibly bringing in an outsider, or even Ryan Lochte, is complete garbage. They’re just throwing that out there to get people talking. If you want my honest opinion, I don’t think Arie has a chance in hell. I’d be shocked if it’s him. I think the only way it’s not Roberto is if he got greedy, asked for too much money, and they said, “Screw you, we’ll get someone else.” If that’s the case, then it’ll be Sean. This is Roberto’s gig to lose, which is why they were after him hard 3 months ago. If he got greedy, then I bet they give it to Sean. Arie is more than a long shot. Don’t see them going with him.
