I do agree that Devin is genuinely interested in Jenn, but I don't know that I agree with the aggressive pursuit. (For me that was Bryan on Rachel's season.) I think he knows how the show works and is trying to get as much time as possible with Jenn. I think the producers also encouraged some of the behaviour and that feeds into his personality.

As for if Jenn is really interested in Devin or responding to his interest, my take is probably a combination of both. When she was first picked as the Bette, she said she wanted someone with a strong personality. I personally thought that was a bit odd, but she knows herself and let's face it, Devin has the biggest personality of anyone there. So I guess, that is what she finds attractive and the fact that he is also actively looking to spend time with her, maybe reinforces that...even if he gets flack from the other guys. I said previously, that he isn't the one she is the most physically attracted to, but he is the one she gravitates to. I actually liked that she listened to the conversation between Devin and Thomas. She got an idea what the other guys were mad at him for, but she also heard him defend himself and she seemed to agree with the points he was making. I think that gave her insight into how Devin thinks and that he would do what he felt was right...even if others disagreed. That is an attractive trait, particularly for a woman who said she was in bad relationships and didn't always feel as if she was heard...even in her own family. Here is a guy who is willing to so, regardless of the flack he was getting.

I don't think some of the guys are being tolerant about Devin to steer clear of the drama. They also say they can see he can be OTT and may not be how they would act, but they understand where he is coming from. I actually thought those defending him had good, balanced points...very similar to the points he had made. Regardless, we know that most of these people...no matter how the show is edited...are usually friendly.

Totally agree on the casting fiasco that is this season. Whoever, did the casting did not do a great job. I think the issue is the fact that they had 3 very different women who they were considering and the things they looked for in a partner were very different. In trying to have a little something for each of them, they basically screwed all of them...no matter who had been chosen for the lead. IMO they needed to have the usual 5 or so specifically for each of the ladies and then when they finally decided on the lead, that lady's group would be chosen to join the cast. The rest, save them for another season.

I am looking forward to the rest of the season. The first few episodes are always my least favourite because tptb always ramp up the stupid, fake drama. Once we get down in numbers, we know the cast a little better and they concentrate a little more on the building relationships and less on the scripted drama. Jenn has indicated that she is happy and engaged, so I am curious to see how that works out...particularly if the spoilers are correct.

Just a note to say that I was sorry that Jahaan got sent home. He's very good looking and IMO was the best "catch" there.

ITA about Jehaan, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Unfortunately, he wasn't shown enough (especially his sense of humor) or on the show long enough to be considered for TB. Maybe BIP next year?

He's about the only one so far that I *am* interested in for TB. I'm surprised that the producers didn't keep him around as a potential lead, but it could be that he didn't have a strong enough personality for them.

I really like Jonathan.  He is attractive and laid back and seems sincere. I am excited that he makes it to F3 and thus may be the pick for the next Bachelor since Marcus will apparently be knocked out of consideration due to the issues that come up about him.

Sam M IMO is getting over confident because he got the FIR and Jen likes to make out with him. I suspect that overconfidence will be his undoing.
