Is it settled as to who the "winner" is - or are there any more thoughts or possible clues ?

@CHO I “think” it’s Theresa but I am still looking for proof. IMO, screen caps don’t lie! Since it’s not easy to “watch the feet “ this season, I hope we gat more previews.

For many reasons!
The proof to me is the sobbing comment, "I thought you said you chose me."
Listened to it with my eyes closed. Focused on the word chose.
IMO That comment is Leslie's voice.

I am so disappointed that we haven't been able to 'watch the feet' this season. How is it possible that Gerry and his F1 haven't been spotted somewhere?? They must have had SHVs....

Oh well. We will know in two weeks.

And I encourage anyone to listen to Dear Shandy's podcast that does a recap of WTA. Andy has certainly become a student of the show....and he makes really interesting comments about the edit. I think he's spot on.

Andy had been Team Ellen until she got cut. But then he says (I'm paraphrasing)...

It's been Theresa ever since the diner. You know how I know? Because he told Leslie's the one in the preview. They've been pulling the wool over our eyes the whole time.

WHo's the girl he didn't tell he "I Love You" to: Theresa
Who's the one who's stuck in stuck in some drama that really isn't that big of a deal: Theresa
Who's the one who hasn't been getting a lot air time: Theresa
Who's the one who just seems like she's not getting a lot of love from Gerry: Theresa
Who's the one who's standing the the final 2: Theresa

He thinks that production has done a great job of editing this season but that, like always, they have to keep us watching. So Theresa did get some shade during the show but it's because it would have been too obvious that Gerry was into Theresa from the start if they hadn't.

Andy says they fooled him with the edit until he saw the preview just shown with Gerry telling Leslie she was the one. Too obvious.

IMO, that Preview after the First Episode has a number of clues.
The one at the top of Page 5 of this thread.
Where Gerry says that  'he is sorry', spliced and diced to look like it was to Theresa (which we now know didn't happen when she said 'How is this happening) check out his tan, hair length and his shirt.
Then check out his shirt, tan and hair length while he is crying on the stairway in the hotel (Same video)
Then check out him sobbing with Jesse AFTER breaking someone's heart. (Same video)
To me, those all happened at the same time when he broke up with Leslie.
(Sobbing voice I thought you said you chose me)

Thanks for taking me back there, RizBiz. While I couldn't follow your tan and hair length thinking (I'm sure you're right), I did note a couple of other things.

First, with the exception of the Diner Date, TPTB edit out Theresa's face from any shots where we now know it was or will be her

Check out the the sequence with Gerry and Theresa where they are trying to make it look like he breaks up with her. The pillows behind Gerry and Theresa don't match at all....red behind Gerry and pink/beige floral behind Theresa.

I don't know if I agree with Andy that it has been Theresa since the very beginning; at the diner.
I think it was Leslie, with Theresa being the STEADY, very close second, up til the FSDs.

Leslie got the rappelling date. Leslie got the much fancier FS room. The Villa Palacio.
Gerry did say to her that he thought she was it.

THEN, the Watershed Moment where it all changed.
Changed from the one he could live with (Leslie, because he loved her) to Theresa, whom he also loved BUT couldn't live without.

I think he made the right choice.

I want to see Kathy eat crow if and when Theresa becomes Mrs. Turner ... Well, maybe not crow, since she did speak very fairly at WTA - perhaps meatballs? Lol

I hope Gerry has been there for Theresa emotionally the past few weeks - the Internet has not been kind to her. So sad. She seems very sensitive too... I guess he'll have to pull out more of the Dad advice he gave her "in her bedroom"....

@RizBiz I agree with you that Leslie was his F1 going into FSD, in addition to the clues you listed, I also think Leslie got roses before Theresa the last few episodes mean something, well, at least to me.


For those who were here during Rachel Lindsay’s season, do you remember one of our super sleuthers found hotel pictures from Trip Advisor that matched where Peter Kraus stayed, and concluded she went to his room to eliminate him? I wish they were still here! We just need to have proof whose room Gerry was knocking on to say goodbye….
