Bachelor Australia - Season 10 - Felix - Jed - Thomas - Episodes - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

It’s just too many people to keep track of, arguably more girls will get screen time because you’ll have to have an F1, plus a couple of contenders for each Bach, but there’s still going to be a heap of MOT’s who get nothing this season.
Also, I don’t really like any of the men, and none of them would be capable of carrying a season themselves which is maybe why they’ve gone this way?
One thing I did like was the “speed dating” at the beginning to select the girls. I mean, there would obviously be production interference with the boys being told that some of the girls were not to be cut, but it also makes it a bit more believable that they could fall for someone there, if there was another season I think that would be a good addition.

Geez TPTB are going to have their work cut out to redeem Felix. I don't mind raunchy, but he's taking it to a new icky level imo.

IMO I don’t think they’re going to try and redeem him, they’re going to hang him out to dry. I guess that’s the thing with having multiple Bachies, normally the lead cops backlash towards the end for getting raunchy with people he doesn’t choose, Felix will just do that all the way through though, leaving the other 2 to be more sweet/sensitive, then whatever they do towards the end will be nowhere near as bad as anything Felix has done.

@Dirty Street Pie re the speed dating I just kept thinking, these girls would have seen in past seasons the girls who get a hometown "intro package" are usually favourites/potential F1s. And then the guy says "no thanks" and walks off, leaving the girl standing there looking embarrassed, still being filmed.  It's so BRUTAL.

And yes, way too many girls to keep track of!!  I counted 48 including the No Roses.  Some wouldn't have even made it to air (including, I assume, the ones who dated Todd before he pulled out).  I agree that none of these Leads could sustain a season on their own and I doubt we'll see this format again (or maybe the show, ever...)

This. IMHO the last lead that could sustain/carry a season was Matt A. I don’t think he had anyone walk out so that feels like he must of been interesting enough to keep the women interested, and good viewer numbers so I guess audiences enjoyed watching too. Lockie and and Jimmy seemed less able and less articulate, and a bit more cardboard cutouty which probably explains the falling viewers. It looks like they might have the same problem on their hands again this season.

Wow.  Episode 3 was so, so bad.  What's with the incessant electronic background music that sounds like it was produced by a year 9 student using a free-trial copy of FL Studio?  Terrible!

I have no time for Tash and her band of plastic-breasted, duck-lipped, fake-hair cronies, but I'm also not sure why the majority of girls (& Osher) are fawning over Jessica as if she's a wounded lamb and polygamy is a virtue.  And what's with this Sister Wives hairdo?  Someone in H & M is taking the piss.




If this is the kind of boring crap they're going to be spending time on each episode I don't know if I'll make it through to the FRC.  It's like all the worst parts of a regular season, amplified.

The only useful detail to come out of the episode is that Leah got the first date with Thomas making it even less likely she's F1 if history is any guide, regardless of what Pointsebet thinks.  Also chuffed with my new avatar courtesy of Jasmine.  It was hard to choose a favourite from this stellar collection.

IA  @Bobette not a good episode. UO, but I low-key agree with Tash.  Her behavior a nd reasoning at the GD and cocktail party was fine imo.  It was her itms that were bitchy and probably filmed after to push her villain narrative.  Tamara Jasmine came off as really immature and Krystal is just an argument waiting to happen at all times imo.  

But why has Osher become Dr Phil?  Just no. That RC was excruciating.

@Agent99 Osher came out of that episode looking like a damn fool, IMO.    His role has veered from hosting into acting, and he is not a good actor.

Ummm... so apparently Episode 4 was on last night?  Did anyone watch it?  Ch 10 REALLY want this over and done with ASAP don't they.  Says it all.

I haven't watched yet but apparently Kiki reveals she has children.  Should have looked more closely at her IG because the clues were there.

Thomas wouldn't want to be a step dad IMO - he's too self-centred and would want his "own".  And this post suggests he doesn't want ANY kids right now.

So that explains why (presumably) Kiki is not F1.  She would have been otherwise IMO judging by the way he was chasing her during Eps 1 & 2.

Episode 4

Some quick notes:

Kiki was 100% F1 at this stage of filming IMO.  The fact that out of all the girls she *coincidentally* got paired up with Thomas for the eye gazing activity gives it away, if it wasn't already obvious from the way he was chasing her at the first cocktail party, IMO.  



LOL at Felix saying Jessica "values relationships more" than the other girls because... she's already in one.      Truly some world-class mental gymnastics going on there when what I think he actually means is: "she's hot and I want to bang her".



Alesia is the only girl Jed's interested in, IMO.  There's going to be very little story arc here because there's no connection with any of the other girls to contrast with.  No wonder they had to call him back for so many re-shoots to try to manufacture something.



Tilly's edit took a bit of a turn this episode.  Felix isn't chasing her in the same way he was in Ep 1.  Seems like he knows he can get her easily and where's the challenge in that?  If Jessica ends up F1 it's because she made herself seem like forbidden fruit, IMO.



Kiki reminds me so much of Nicole Kidman (been meaning to say that since Ep 1 ) and I cannot to lie, the soft, slow kiss between her & Thomas was H.O.T.  A stark contrast to the face-mauling techniques of the other Leads that's for sure.  



Annnnd then she drops the motherhood bomb and there's an immediate change in Thomas' demeanour.  He even says, "I really wanted to start my own family from scratch" - almost exactly what I said upthread.  Good to see him being honest.



So Marnie's gone - TPTB didn't need her for the motherhood storyline after all because Kiki's got that covered.  And Jess leaves with a total of... what... 12 seconds screentime?  LOL.  How funny would it be if MAFS cut her out of their edit too.  



Finally, I have never seen anyone look less like their Instagram profile than CJ.  I fail to see the point of using so many filters that you end up looking like a completely different person.  Some massive self esteem issues here IMO.  Just be yourself girl.

Episode 5

Jasmine: "The trash took itself out"  

The Jessica storyline is ridiculous.  Now, in contrast to what Felix said in Ep 4 about her being the Doyen of Relationships, she says she's only sorta kinda with the other dude and "doesn't want two boyfriends at the end of this".  I've said it before and I'll say it again - that is NOT polyamory - it's just hedging your bets!!



Thomas says he "came into this not wanting to date someone with children", yet TPTB cast two mothers for him (plus two blonde wenches only on the show to stir sh*t up, IMO).  Not really giving him the best chance to find love with those odds.  Anyway, the vibe has totally changed and Kiki is a dead woman walking.



Thomas "wants to have the same chance that Kiki had, to raise a family, and I want it to be *my* family".  OOF.  Kiki, exit stage left girl.  And a note to Thomas: Life is messy.  If you are discounting women just because they have kids, you're a fool.  It would be a privilege if Kiki invited you into her children's lives IMO.  



Aw Jed.  When I look at him I still see a little boy.  I don't believe for one second that he feels "most comfortable" in those clothes.  He's putting on a performance, a character, because he's not truly comfortable in himself IMO.  Can't help but feel for the guy and it's going to suck when, I assume, Alesia dumps him on his a**.





Thomas gets Kiki naked and decides maybe he could see past this whole single mother thing after all.  NOPE.  Too late.  You've already spoken about her as if she's used goods and made it clear you'd never see her kids as part of *your own* family so away with you sir and I hope you see the error of your ways watching this back.



This screenshot is interesting to me. A lot of Main Players and a narrator in the one frame.



This SC of Abigail also got my attention. That freckle looks suspiciously like a match for girl in the red dress at the FRC



Anyway, Jenae's gone. Someone better tell Pointsbet who still have her second favourite

Just finished catching up on all the episodes and I can't believe they've already shown five episodes in a week. The producers must really want this to end
