Compromise can lead to change. It depends upon what you are compromising on. Premarital sex, yes he could agree to that. Becoming a minister instead of a pilot, no.

Regardless of the outcome, Peter needs to separate himself from the control of his Mother. That is an unhealthy relationship. I'm glad Madi stood up for herself. Peter is going to need to choose someone, and I'm not saying this should be Madi, who has a backbone if he's ever going to have a happy marriage.

Also they have spent only a few hours with Hannah Ann and she says (imo) all the right things no matter what but calling her an angel on earth? You don't even know her?

I love everything about how Madison is during that segment!  Peter loves Madison. He does not truly love HA.

I wonder how Hannah Ann would feel if they are still engaged and watching him just fawn all over Madi before the MTP?

Also Peter you are a grown man. You do not need to listen to your overbearing mother and have her tell you who to pick after meeting one girl once and the other girl twice.l You know the girls better than any of them. BE A MAN AND GO AFTER WHO YOU WANT!

Take a step back, parents! It’s his life. And Peter, grow up!

Why do his family think that HA is perfect? They don't know her.

I get now why Madison left. His mother was awful to him. I don't think they care about Peter's true feelings because if they did they'd SEE he doesn't love Hannah Ann.
