IA the "swaying" has over the years been towards the F2.

I don't remember a parent telling the lead specifically who to choose.

But we honestly don't know exactly why his mom is saying this or who it is about at this time.  Until I see the whole scene, I'm not jumping to the conclusion that his mom is telling him what to do.  But if any parent were to be the one to do it, I can see it being her!

It's after meeting Madi and they talk about the two women afterward. The episode description indicates it is a factor and it also affects how the women react.

Great find. It's very obvious he didn't take his parents advice IMHO. 4:40 mark

MTP and parents opinions are most often IMHO opposite of what they really are.

Peter still claimed in that Hollywood Reporter interview that the show worked too well and he was torn.  So, I don't know what to make of anything Peter says and what we see on TV.

I just wish we got to see the full relationship of both.  

As for Madi, the show keeps taking her statements that she's ready for marriage when I bet she said she is ready for marriage, but doesn't know if it's with Peter.

I still think the MTP didn't go well for Madi.  HS was happily telling Peter that she didn't care and wanted everyone to know she loved him.  He seemed to like it, but didn't seem over the moon happy either. IMO

Oh, I'm sure it worked for him.  He has the tendency to fall in and out of love very easily.  I said that during Hannah's season when I knew he would be the next lead.  That is exactly why they wanted him.

He had feelings for Hannah Ann and even Victoria. And, I'm sure in his mind he could see himself with them in the future because he has said that to other girls (not show related) in the past.  But his feelings for Madison eclipsed his feelings for the other girls and I'm suspecting that shook him to the core.

Peter is a romantic and very emotional so for him to say goodbye to someone that he cared about will be hard and IMO he doesn't like hurting people.  He wants to be liked by everyone.

In the long run, most leads do have feelings for their F2 of some kind.  Love, that would be a no.  Many leads have said that they really fell in love after the filming ended.  The show was just the vehicle on the road for them to find someone.  The hard work started post show.

Could you guys look at the caps thread again? @Bobette did different angles and there is something about the hair in the back that seemed indented or photoshopped...it looks different.

On ABC's website it says Season Finale Part 1 and Season Finale Part 2. They are each 2 hour episodes. No additional hour for an ATFR

I would guess we will not see either of the girls on Monday night. It will either end with Peter's "heartbreak" in the plaid shirt or CH's talk before the FRC. Not sure which though. 

TPTB want to carry the suspense out as long as they can. And, I would guess those that get the episode early will not know anything because there will be no real "clarity" in the episode.

@GuardianAngel Well, I’m sure they will stretch the last episode to the max on Monday, leaving everybody on a cliffhanger until the Tuesday night episode. Probably some more crashing BN viewing parties, maybe even some quick chat with favorite BN people in Attendance, lots of Peter and his family supporting him. Then Tuesday, the last piece with Peter live with HS and Madison and their respective time and resolution. I guess they will announce Clare as well, not sure when but they usually have a few contestants show up, so maybe after Peter’s stuff is all cleared up ( if and however it does) they will lighten the mood with the new Bachelorette.
It’s gonna be a little weird considering that they have usually a contestant FROM the season that is nominated...and this will be a little disjointed to follow up after Peter’s seasonIMO.
Maybe RS will come up with some more info on the format to expect tomorrow and Tuesday.

I think it will end at the FRC, because the episode description talks about Peter being devastated or whatever and we see what happened from that point until now.
