Already signs the parents don’t like Madi.

Wow. Peter tells his parents that Madi was the first person he fell in love with. It's clear they already have a negative opinion of Madi now going into the MTP. I thought it was interesting that Peter then kind of defends Madi to his family, saying that they need to know how much Madi means to him. This conversation makes it clear to me Madi was 100% his frontrunner.

This is definitely a big source of conflict, because they're going to heavily push for him to choose HA.

Pretty much sums it up. I can't imagine myself being the parent and telling my child that and am glad to say that I never did!

Seriously, his mother is exactly why he is such a mess. She is the drama that he is used to. Both of these girls should run far and fast from this mess.

Peter's mom doesn't care about anything other than a woman who will worship her son -- she doesn't seem to want to know about the person at all.
