However, where can they be stationary in CA? Think it's going to have to be in one location. Atleast, Disney and surrounding resorts could work.

Yes, Clare's season has lost a lot of luster for me too, but I almost always end up liking the Bachelorettes long afterward, while the Bachelors usually, not so much.  Mainly though I love to see all the guys on the Bachelorette and not all the forced drama which IMO seems to happen more on the Bachelorette.  
Also, , I selfishly hope they stay in CA.  Unless they find some way to go international, then by all means do so.   I don't remember every season, but don't think they've done much in Central Coast wine settings since Ben F's season.  There is beautiful country everywhere, but even being from PA and now in CA, I am partial to CA.  The Sierra Nevada region could also be a site, along with a possible (if safety permits) return to one of my all time favorite places, San Francisco. What better place for a CA girl like Clare to leave her heart to someone?  CA Tahoe and redo some casino visits (if open).  I sound like CA tourism bureau, but you get my drift.  
The thing about this is they could do all land travel with stops spaced out for only a day or less drive between destinations, and then several
"home base" sites to make day trips.  It would cut down on airport/plane worries.  They could end up in some great all inclusive resort and call it a condensed, but relatively safe season.

ETA, I'm just brainstorming, but what if they do the first 3 episodes as usual based at the mansion, but this time have a much more robust rose ceremony function....one where the guys know upfront cuts will be deep at RC 3. The traveling group would be smaller but maybe have longer time with Clare and maybe fewer eliminations in the middle episodes and then take only 3 max to hometowns? IDK. I would guess tptb are considering a lot to do differently with this one season and hopefully full blast again in later seasons depending on how we are doing.

Thinking about the non-travel during Clare's season....the could always visit lots of different countries in Epcot.

As much as I b#tch and moan about this silly show it is fun to again be discussing it.

I'm so sorry. I just noticed this post now. It seems to be random from season to season. Some will wait till just before filming and change their IG to private. Some contestants never change it and leave it public.

We try to capture their IG link and details before filming starts so we can check up on them after each RC and compare it to the original SC of just before filming started. This has been helpful in determining who was eliminated due to SM activity.

@GuardianAngel I'm not sure if this is what the other poster is talking about, but Florida seems to be open to hosting things that have been delayed. The NBA is in talks to finish the season at Disneyworld, and there's rumors that Florida could be a place where MLB plays their season. So the state seems to be open to this sort of stuff. I'd be surprised if tptb weren't considering it as a location.

THe Bachelor should look into casting some of these men from "Labor of love" for Claire, IMO they are all in the age range for Claire and not bad to look at either. jmo

@pavalygurl Not sure how long it's been since you've visited San Francisco but the city is not what it once was. Going to see Hamilton, we were "harassed" by about 6 homeless who wanted money from us; it was thoroughly frightening. Encampments and garbage line the streets and the parks. Feces and needles cover the streets. My daughter lives in the Marina district, is desperate to leave and is actively looking for another job out of the Bay Area. My brother works in SF and is looking to quit and then move out.

So...if they film in SF they will have to be very selective in their venues. The city's decline is truly one of the saddest things.

Thanks for the info. I was last there 2 yrs ago this summer and was hoping to return this summer, but we are still in stay at home status til July 4.  I live in City of LA so sadly, I know the drill.  Our mayor is trying hard to find hotels, apartments etc.  We approved a large bill to support all this.  It's taking time but I still want to support it.  It's so sad but I think it can be improved upon.  Also if the Bach films in SF they will be bringing revenue to them.

As to Hamilton, did you see that one of the Disney streaming services is showing Hamilton on July 4th? and I believe continuing for a time after that.  It's a film by the original cast.
We saw it when it first came to LA and I was in awe.  Neighbor has not seen it and we all had tix for May 21st alas.  Now tix for sometime in Nov, hopefully.  Lin Manuel is a genius to have put this all together.  

Back to the Bachelorette, I was just brainstorming on sites within a day's drive of here that would be worth seeing.  Hoping for the best.

Opening up venue's and event's IMO doesn't necessarily mean it's safe. I don't want to be political or prejudice towards anyone's views, but I've vacationed in Florida every year sometimes twice, a few times I went three times in one year, for 30+ years. I'll never go back to Florida.

If they are going to start filming anywhere, IMHO they need to be where the number of cases are declining, the reporting is not fudged, and the numbers are not increasing.

I don't see how they are going to be able to travel anytime soon.
