Yup! Abbie is chasing Matt and Matt is chafing Chelsie. IMO.

We can only hope Matt is not chaffing Chelsie. Should we get her some cream?

As soon as I saw that screencap pre-season I was like, yup, Chels is the winner and Matt is a goner. His face says it all. I can't wait to watch it

Episode 14, Part A

We open with some massive side of beef I vaguely recognise as our Lead.  Seriously what has happened to Matt?  Has he been mainlining protein shakes?  Did Honey Badger infuse the pool water with steroids?

First HTD and it's Abbie.  They begin with a montage of them pashing and people bitching about her.  Matt says he "needs to clear the air with her so he can move on."

YOU DID THAT ALREADY.  So many times.  At this point if I were Abbie I'd be offended that he kept questioning me like this.  I realise TPTB don't have any other storylines this season but geeezzzzzz.

Abbie is looking the business.  Her wild curls are back in action and various parts of her body are falling out of her clothing all over the place.  Brisbane looks good on her.

The pool makeout session is the kind of stuff 12 year old boys dream of being aired during a 7:30pm timeslot and I hope they all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Abbie's family is lovely!  Mum seems like she's *lived a life* and it's easy to see where Abbie gets it from.  Uncle Rob tries to look intimidating in his mauve floral shirt, which was always going to be a challenge.

Abbie says she's falling in love with him and as he's leaving he turns to wave at her, so he didn't just walk off without looking back as was suggested upthread.

Chelsea up next.  Matt says he's in "warm sunny Melbourne" and I assume that's either sarcasm or he's in some kind of alternate universe when warm and sunny actually means cold and miserable.

They recap Chelsea's "best bits" and it's all nerd this and nerd that.  Gotta emphasise their designated stereotypes at every opportunity.   She must be hot in this jacket since it's SO WARM.

After talking about her ex again (  )Chelsea takes Matt to a hip pub and it's All Very Melbourne.  They look like a regular couple and I can definitely see it working IRL.

Now Chelsea's sister Shannon is bagging Chelsea's exes.    If there's a pattern there maybe she should stop choosing the same type of guys over and over and oh I don't know, leave them when they cheat rather than hang round?  

Anyway, Shannon is super articulate and a good family spokesperson since Mum and Dad barely say a word.  Matt's answers seem to satisfy her that he's not Eliot Loney 2.0 so overall a good family meeting and great ad for Air B&B.

The bit of her saying "I am..." "falling..." and then cutting off is a complete fabrication though.  They had the camera on the back of her head when she "said" each line.  But Chelsea's obstacle is now established so well done edit monkeys.

He turns to wave at her but she's not looking, she turns to see him off but he's already gone.  It's like a scene from a cheesy Rom Com and SO clearly scripted but it's Friday afternoon and I'm in a good mood so I'll just say... it's cute.

Is it strange to see a lead engaged in a conversation with the whole family at 2 HTD’s but not with F1’s??

@stoneleigh, just caught the ad you were talking about, but I missed the majority of it because I didn't realise . Hoping it catch it again while I'm watching The Project and The Living Room.
