Bachelor Australia - Matt Agnew - Season 7 - Episodes #2 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Lot of support for Chelsie on the internet after the Abbie-Matt kissing. I am pretty sure they have had some great moments which was never aired! And the audience is wondering if Matt-Chelsie had anything! ‍�

I was out tonight and won't get to the watch the episode until tomorrow night after work. My thoughts and the banners will be uploaded then!

The reaction from Matt is quite different with Chelsie... he was holding Chelsie's hand at the dinner table the whole time... and gave her gentle caresses as they were saying bye... he looked a bit uncomfortable when Abbie told him how she felt...

I think he was passionate with some of the other girls too but with Chelsie there's an extra gentleness and care imo...

Oh that departure from Emma was super awkward... he knows his feelings aren't strong for her...

The bolded is what I have been seeing this season and why the makeouts with some of the other women where just whatever to me. He treats Chelsie like someone he is serious about imo.

watched the episode, but mostly the part of chelsie’s hometown, love them together, she really lives in a castle, as someone has mentioned previously ;o

abbie’s single date next week grosses me out, girl stop dry humping him on every occasion please

That's pretty harsh to convince Helena to come back if she was going to walk, only to dump her at the next rose ceremony. I hope TPTB compensate her well for it. Am thoroughly over watching Abbie dry hump Matt (although if you're in a pool, is it dry humping?) so I'm glad I'll be able to fast forward all of those bits when I am able to catch up. And poor Emma, in love with being in love. Best she goes now rather than F2 or 3 so her feelings can be spared a bit.

Just saw an ad on TV (I am up very late ) for the FRC episode. Matt is standing outside in his FRC clothes looking at a ring in a velvet box. It flashes to all 3 girls on their F3 dates.

Matt's voiceover says "I want to walk away from this with the love of my life"... Narrator says "The heart stopping finale"... then Matt says "This is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to do"... Narrator "Who will Matt choose?" then Matt says "I just don't know anymore"

Then it cuts back to Matt at the FRC with his hand to his face, head down, upset and a bit teary, probably just after letting F2 go (or just before)

That's exactly how I've seen it too -- that Matt views Chelsie as someone he is truly serious about and the rest are there because it's a TV show and that's how this works. They have a realness to them, like they are truly dating in the real world, that sets them apart from all the other contestants. 

I am looking forward to more of Chelsie and Matt together because that's what I am watching for. The other stuff: the Abbie drama, Emma being in the bubble in love with love, Olena Helena guarded etc, is all filler to me and honestly boring to watch. I've seen it all before, the exact same "characters" as past seasons on this season and it's the same thing.   jmo

Bring on the finale and Matt and Chels together

I think it's the typical plot-line just like Richie and Olena and to have one contestant be the "I want to leave" "no stay" type. She could've and should've left after the timeline date and because I don't think she's into him (even if he was into her she isn't imo). She stays because that's the storyboard imo. It's so producer planned imo that I see right through it. There's always the typical tropes and this season has the same as Richie's and Matt doing what he has to try make some tv show and the drama. It's so produced to me, I feel like I've seen it before (because I have)

Perhaps it's because I've watched this show for so many years but it's been super obvious to me that Matt is going to choose Chelsie. No matter the head games and bubble, he knew at their first date imo and the rest is doing what a lead has to do and honestly I believe the contestants are also doing what they have to do to make the show and their stories/characters. It's the same song and dance.  

I'm so bored with Abbie especially, as well as Helena, and before that, Emma. All I see are the typical character tropes in each of them to distract from the real match because this show would be over if they didn't have those roles to play. I'd much rather see the relationship between Matt and Chels blossom than the same old same old, rinse and repeat character tropes of the others. But again, I get that they can't do that yet otherwise there's no show but I have zero interest in Abbie or Helena show-wise. They're just characters filling a role on a tv show at this point. Been there, seen it, bought the t-shirt. Rinse and repeat.

I totally agree with this. I haven’t seen every Bachelor season but the “characters” are so similar to other seasons (Helena Olena is a perfect example ... Matt, she’s just not into you honey) because they’ve selected the sound bites and footage that support the story board they’ve given to each person .. if I never looked at this forum, I would’ve never known this but now it’s much more obvious and I don’t think I’d watch the show without reading the forum because it’s much more fun sleuthing (either furniture or body language .. I’m really crap with sleuthing furniture!!) and understanding how it works on the production side.

I’d really wish the producers just showed the love story. I think that’s what Australian viewers want, which is probably different to American viewers (I read a summary of the winners and losers in the American series and the lead seems to pull a Blake all the time .. well, we know how much Blake is loved in the franchise .. not)

I want Ten to release the footage that wasn’t shown with Chelsie and also Kristen. The positive stuff not the negative drama crap.. I am also not interested in this, particularly as so much of it is overdramatised and produced (and you know why Abbie and Matt always talk about their sexual chemistry? Probably because the producers keep asking and prompting them to talk about it and even though there were also very passionate scenes with the other girls, it’s obvious the producers decided Abbie the seductress was going to be her role and she’s acting very well in it!!)

Admittedly I have enjoyed this season and I love that they chose a nerdy lead and the F1 is also very nerdy (we need more women in STEM and she’s the perfect role model!) .. it hasn’t spoiled the show for me to know who F1 is (undoubtedly Chelsie), what spoils the show is the antics and drama.

Then after Chelsie walked back to her fake castle (rented Airbnb ), Matt turned around and looked at her.
His expression is so cute! I don’t think he could fake his feelings.






Compared to Abbie, she watched him leaving.
Yup! Abbie is chasing Matt and Matt is chafing Chelsie. IMO.
