@sosleepy  Unrealized potential is a tough one.  Usually when the couple you ship is not the final couple, you can watch the final couple sitting at the afr happy and giddy and seemingly in love and it makes it easier in a way.  Plus the one who was rejected usually is fine after watching the show back and maybe looking forward to being the next lead.  

Tyler and Hannah never fully took off. How she expected Tyler to propose (as most runner ups do) when they clearly never had sex is beyond me. Plus Tyler was close to Jed during the show and I wonder how much contact they had when all the $hit hit the fan.

This is what I just don’t get.  Once she rejected having sex with him why didn’t she just send him home at F3?  Even if she realized the next morning that she cared for him more than she realized, it just seems delusional for her to feel confident that he would propose.  

I don’t think she thought he’d propose? I think she assumed jed was her f1 and the path was free & clear for him after Luke. And I think she felt confident in jed bc she’s used to that type of relationship and felt like it was what love was. I don’t think she thought Tyler was f1 ever.

As far as what’s happened now, I think it’s super banal and there’s no mystery here. They were experiencing some bubble sparks towards the end but now it’s been 2 months, she’s had all the jed stuff, Tyler has a new life in nyc, etc etc etc. I think if she had chosen him initially, they could have been something but to reconcile months later? It’s too much of a hill to climb altho I’m sure Hannah would really really REALLY like to try again.

Why not let Tyler go and keep Peter for F2?  What does bringing Tyler to F2 do for her that she couldn’t get from bringing Peter to F2?

I think Tyler grew on her more after how he handled the fs stuff and he probably also knew he wasn’t f1. Come on, they didn’t have sex, is he really gonna all befumbled (as Hannah would say) that he’s not f1 when the time comes? And he and Jed were buddies at the time, so it must have been easier for her to take him than windmill sex 2x paramour.

Another thing.  On the Viall files, Hannah said she took each relationship to the end and made sure she was done before letting a man go and did a :wiping hands clean: hand gesture.  So maybe she’s certain Tyler is not her guy.

Yeah, I'm not going to take anything "I've-only-had-two-disasterous-relationships-and-then-went-on-two-reality-tv-shows-to-find-love-Hannah-Brown" has to say about relationships seriously.

She has admitted and clearly shown that she doesn't have a great deal of healthy experience in exploring, engaging, and ending relationships.

Not that I'm advocating for a Hannah/Tyler reunion -- just not sure she can articulate or explain how she valued those show relationships. Girl is stubborn, has a bad picker. and can't read relationships for @#$

I wonder who is against dating? Maybe Hannah just doesn't feel secure enuf to be with a model? Maybe where they live is an issue?  He seemed so sure she was his one, and he had seen her at her worst during the season, so I doubt anything that's come out since would have been that big a deal. I can accept that perhaps initially Tyler was not her type, but I think all that melts away when you really get to know someone. My type was always dark Italian guys...married a blonde Irishman, ....and feel very lucky indeed...

If in fact their recent sm is all an act to pimp the show, well then they're not who I thought they were. And if it's sincere, then I think one or both are crazy not to give themselves a shot....they have a lot more together than many couples. I really wish we could be privy to the truth.....I.need.closure.       Not that it's any of my business

But when would Tyler have learned that Hannah had sex 2x with Windmill Pete? Did she tell Tyler during their FS? Was it passed along in the guys' group chat? Did Tyler learn about during the previews? He could've assumed that she wasn't going to FS with the other guys.

I have no idea about any of it...that's why I can't wait for the ATFR. I am slightly curious about MTP and LCD -- knowing that she had sex 2x with Windmill Pete yet Tyler still made it to F2 over him. Can't wait to see the body language of all the players - Tyler, Jed, Hannah, parents, siblings, etc...

I really can't wait until months after the season when all the tea starts to spill.

@North I’m strictly speaking on what she felt for Tyler. I agree she cant spot a healthy relationship or good man but she knows how she feels about someone.

Plus Hannah did the dumping not Tyler for reasons we don’t know yet. So for now I think she is the one that doesn’t want a reunion, not Tyler, the one that was all in. JMO

That’s kind of where I was headed. She did what was most convenient for her and allowed her to protect Peter by letting him go earlier. If feels like Tyler was someone she could use, he could help her out. It just seems that she wasn’t into Tyler then, so it’s hard for me to believe she’s in to him now.

What is the possibility ofHannah proposing to Tyler? A first at the aftr? Just a thought

Oh goodness please no.....just please no!!! Hannah hopefully would never ever do this!!! I am sure friends and family would step in before they allowed her to do this.

I agree she is out of the bachelorette bubble and so his Tyler. Honestly I could see how she was all happy and giddy the morning after with Jed. I bet watching the show now, Tyler can see how much she was all in for Jed. (Imho)

It’s starting to feel like she used him on the show at the end, and now she’s using him again (liking tweets/IG posts about him/them, etc.) so that she is connected to the hero. I’m probably overly bitter because I really wanted them to work out, but everything now just leaves a bad taste.

Let’s be bitter betties together I think she was doing her best at the time and is doing her best now. I don’t think she’s purposely using him or used him, just did what made sense at the time. I agree the sex thing has said a lot to me also abt where Hannah’s feelings/head were at this time.
