Excellent explanation of how Sportsbet works with regards to the Bachelor @Bobette

I didn’t do the age odds, but have had a quick look now, and 31-33 is still the favourite with a max bet of $22 and max loss of $121, with the other age ranges having a max loss in the $140-$150 ballpark. 

IMO this is the category that is the least reliable this far out when the girls haven’t been announced, but once the show has started and their ages are flashed up on the screen any movements in the odds and max bets will be a bit more meaningful.

How old do you reckon Blue Sequins is? She looks younger than 31 to me but maybe just has a good skincare routine.

It's hard to tell with what we have so far, but 31-33 is certainly at the upper age range for a Bach contestant, like last year Britt was 30 wasn't she, and she was one of the more mature contestants. Although IF they have cast for Matt maybe there are a few more mature girls there.

You're not kidding. So little to work with this season.   At least Sportsbet never let us down.

I wonder why F1's home state changed from QLD to NSW.  Maybe she's from Byron (borderline NSW/QLD )

When the odds first suggested 31-32 year old with black hair from QLD, I thought Georgina injector was the only one to fit the criteria (that we knew of). But her SM would exclude her, wouldn't it?

@Agent99 I'm expecting her to be one of the first to go (because injector) but yes SM ruled her out - she was accepting friend requests from other MOTs before the 4th May (see here)

What if this "bet" is a red herring since there are so many blondes. Betting now on anyone that's not a blonde could be a win for Sportsbet

@Bobette There's always a small chance someone else was working her SM. I think it's doubtful, but from the photos we have, there doesn't look like many over 30s there. Most of them look younger.

You are absolutely correct however for me, the fact that she's a cosmetic injector rules her out entirely.  I just cannot see a man who spends his days pondering the beautiful mathematical complexities of the universe being attracted to someone who pumps poison into women's faces.

The girls do look young, but I could see some being 31.  Sogand IMO must be over 30 with her qualifications (though SM activity seemed to put her out around the same time as Injector).  We really need to find the other black haired girls - Blue Sequin and Feather Dancer - on SM.

Also worth bearing in mind: We may get black haired intruders.  Given Matt's profession it may have taken them longer than usual to rustle up some hand-picked compatible girls to go with their usual fodder of MOTs (who I'm sure would have been cast regardless of who the lead was).

I agree   but a part of me also wants to see it, opposites attract and all.

I think as you said, blue sequins is either MOT or on a single date, according to photos of the GD.

@Agent99 there's opposites and then there's, like, a vegan marrying a butcher - could happen but the odds are probably not in their favour IMO.    

Personally, the only outcomes I will be satisfied with are:

1. He picks a fellow nerd; or

2. He picks a non-intellectual who is sweet and funny and completes him in a ying/yang sense (seems more likely IMO and this is what I am secretly hoping to see).

However I will concede that, being a nerd, he may not have had a smorgasbord of beautiful women to choose from before so there is the possibility it might have gone his head... or other places.

Let's just hope he doesn't "do a Jules".

This should probably be in a different thread, but IMO he has experience.  Imagine how many 18-23 year olds there are at uni.  There were so many responses from those that knew him on SM when he was announced, gushing over him.  If anyone has seen Indiana Jones movies, I can just see this happening
