Impossible at this point to say otherwise IMO it is all over the medias that Nick will not do the media round, will be away for the finale. So confirming this would just be an official validation that he is single imo

It would have to be a satellite feed.

at this point, I truly believe TEN would have made an announcement and made sure that the nation knew that regardless of his trip, interview would be done.

the only possible option I do see is a recorded message with his F1 that will be aired after the finale.

There is also the option that they play a Sophie/Stu regardless if there is a taped message or not.

O/T @Sundy I love Sam Fro too  She was the main reason I joined the forum. One of my faves and always had a soft spot for her (had some insider info and what she went through in her past relationships - partly why I never warmed to Sash). I've always cheered for her and glad she is in such a great space now. Sleuthing back then was so fun, the nail polish matching for FRC  Ah that was a great season!

Part of me wonders if Nick just doesn't give a crap about media or the show. To me it seems that way considering he barely posted about it and his interviews etc. So it could be he just doesn't care to do media post-finale which I think he'd be contracted to do.

The issue is if he doesn't care then I don't see why he hasn't been way more explicit that he has found love like Matty J was. I mean, if he's not even going to be around to do press post-finale then he could have saved himself and his F1 (if they're together) a heap by just being more upfront like Matty J. Even if they told him not to I don't see him following that since he's not going to be around anyway post-finale so I don't get the feeling he cares about TEN or anything like that as a reason.

Now if he chose no one, dated both post-finale, or broke up, or doing a Stu/Sophie then I could see it all playing out as it has. But it's odd to me if he is with his F1 that he wouldn't be more obvious from the beginning in interviews the way Matty J was because I really don't get the vibe Nick cares about doing what Ten wants anyway

I can’t see Nick saying he found love on the show when the show itself haven’t shown a love story remotely with any of the women. All I’ve seen is Nick being interested and moderately attracted to a few girls. I think he liked a few and fell in lust with s couple. 
Also, Nick at times seemed to be waiting on his cue (he did say he was fed lines) his body language was awkward for the most part. I think he went through the motion of acting on the show while the first half of the season was centered on gossip and drama. I wonder if Nick was disappointed with the show’s editing for him and his F1. 

What if the F2 decided to leave on her own. Maybe Nick decided to see how things work out in real life.

If Nick picked no one but let’s say Britt was the last to show up on FRC, she's still F1, right? Is this how sportbet is spoiled by info of last girl standing or from other concrete info?

I haven't once heard Nick say he fell in love on the show.  I've heard him say he's off the market (which could just mean he's currently not allowed to date).  I've heard him say he's bloody happy (which could just mean he's happily single, or happy with someone else). I've heard many things which could be interpreted or misinterpreted many ways.  It's just all very cagey IMO.  

ETA: Re Sportsbet, they'd have concrete info IMO. However they haven't had a "picks no one" option except for a brief period of time, so it's still quite possible they have concrete info he picks no one and just decided to nominate Britt as the favourite because having "picks no one" as the shortest odds would discourage people from betting on any of the girls and they want them $$$$s

@Bobette it is very cagey he hasn't said he found love and very good point about not having a 'picks no one' would discourage bets. 

My cynical brain says it's all planned and media and Sportsbet are in on it too for $$$ and clicks. How better to get people to bid on someone other than Britt than TEN to create a ton of doubt about the relationship and whether he will do a switcheroo or something. 

IA and still think Britt is F1. But I am sure that TEN will be doing all they can to make it seem like that is not the case and a bad F1 edit helps that and Sportsbet get some last minute bid$.

Let's not forget, if he picks no one, with all in betting, Sportsbet keep EVERYTHING, and don't have to pay out a dime.  That would be one very big payday for them and definitely motivation to work with TPTB to give the illusion that Britt wins, even if they know there isn't a winner.  

So I'm interested to see what happens there and also what happens if Nick & Britt trot out looking like the happy couple and deny a split.  I can't see DM backing down - more likely IMO they'd double down even more and take it upon themselves to prove the relationship is fake.

Could make for some extremely interesting post-show media. Bring on the finale...!  

@Bobette true! Nothing like trying to get more $$  I just want someone to say to Nick at the end "sorry I have to say goodbye to you but our ceiling has been reached". Is it too much to ask? Probably   And to think I used to watch this show for a love story

I haven't yet seen this posted but I think it's well done.
