IMO, a woman too weak to stand up for herself rarely gets what she really wants. There is a huge difference between 1) passive aggressive whining like a child and 2) stating your case while fully prepared to walk if your needs are not being met. People who choose either option generally get what they deserve, IMO.

Exactly. This has gone on for a while now. More subtle at the start, but now it seems to be all the time. I see it as her being passive aggressive and whining just as you said. If she is unhappy and he is not meeting her needs, at some point she needs to make a stand. If he wants her he will do what she wants. If he doesn't, then he will just let her go. My $ is on everything being over.

I have a friend who was in a similar relationship....minus the televised bits. She wanted marriage. He was stalling. She gave him an ultimatum and he ignored it. She moved out. Two weeks later, there was the ring, followed shortly by the wedding. They have been happily married now for 20+ years. She knew what she wanted and knew her own worth. If he wasn't going to meet her needs, she would find someone who would. Was it hard? Yes. Was she miserable? Yes, but as she put it, I was going to be miserable either way. At least this way, I had a chance to be happy at some point in the future. If I didn't, I'd end up hating not only him, but myself as well and I wasn't willing to do that. It takes guts and a strong sense of self. Not sure Kaitlyn has that.

Exactly! a guy doesn’t know what he wants and been not ready for a long time to tie the knot . For me I don’t want to stuck on this kind of rel. listen: I am all for it on waiting on marriage but when two people are not on the same page, it is another story. These two are not on the same page. She wants to get married for a while now and hoping can happen soon but her man cannot even make his decision about it instead he keeps ignoring it and making excuses. Now his business is doing well . His time and attention goes on his business. I don’t understand why can’t just say to her he is not going to marry her instead of making her hoping all along. It is really getting ridiculous  what he is doing to his fiancé . But KB thinks this rel is still happy like before but it is obvious it’s not anymore but of course KB won’t walk away . She will stay here to prove everyone wrong . It is obvious they are having a hard time but trying to paint a happy couple in public and sm. Jmo

I think as easy it is for me to tell Kaitlyn to woman up and just leave him, it is super hard when your lives are as intertwined as theirs are and you've spent the last years building a life together and dreaming of babies and growing old together. Stupid Shawn.

IMO, it’s much more about who are they if they’re not Shawn and Kaitlynn from the Bachelorette? He’s a business owner. Who is she? How is their earning power impacted if they break up? Etc, etc.

The emotional part is only made worse by hanging around and stretching it out. Especially if you want a husband and a family and your clock is ticking and she has a clear indication he no longer plans to be “the one”. I’m not saying it’s not hard to leave. I’m saying IMO lying to yourself and settling and delaying the outcome is worse. IMO, Shawn may never say the words to break up with Kaitlyn unless of course he finds the woman he actually does want to spend his life with and slap yourself awake if you don’t think that can happen. Unless that happens, he’s got nothing to lose by hanging out, IMO. His biological clock doesn’t shut down for another 40 years. 
He’s got decades of time to waste. He can marry a 30 year old sometime within the next 25 years and have a baby and start playing house like he’s 25. Every day, right now, she’s playing “Beat the Clock”. C’est la vie. 
Blame it on Eve or, Mother Nature or, the short straw or, whatever. Just the facts, not my opinion.

So Kait got back to Nashville yesterday and Shawn's now in NY.

Might as well start calling them Ben/Lauren at this point.

There would always be a "justified reason" why one is away from the other. I mean it couldn't be helped right? The clock is ticking... Sad turn of events though.
