Bachelorette 14 - Becca Kufrin - Episode 8 - July 16th - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

One of his family friends posted in a FB group that she cheated. It's definitely not 100% confirmation or anything, but it's also more than speculation, IMO.

@Aria, Thanks for getting to the source, which does not change my views anyway. Still cannot see how Garrett  ( and family) would not share that with Becca as a factor in his favor. Blake did tell a similar story. We probably will never know about the circumstances that really halted Garrett’s marriage but it’s a smoking gun shooting a big red flag. JMO

If she truly cheated,  it’s not uncommon that the guilty mate makes the innocent one feel as if it was their fault. One reason for cheating is you don’t want to go out the front door of a relationship and end it respectfully to start another. You want to secure the second relationship first. Many times the innocent mate doesn’t even know what hit them and it’s a battle of where did things go wrong while the other is off starting another life. Just my opinion based on helping a few friends though this kind of nightmare.

There have been inconsistencies with Garrett's side of the story. For me, I'm sick of his bashing, and the more he does it the more I do not believe a word he says. I'm just as inclined to believe what the "friend" of the ex said in an article- that he changed after they got married, and gave a warning to Becca. Maybe that wasn't a friend and it was made up. But the "friend" who posted in a FB group could also be fake/a poser. I really doubt that the ex cheated within the 6 weeks they were home from the honeymoon and before G left. More likely, after G left, she maybe started dating again before the divorce was final. So technically, she was cheating, but not really.

@Minney spot on. IMO Blake's story about his Mum is far worse than Garrett's mention of his ex

Better ... worse ... is there a difference really? Divulging personal info is wrong ... period... one doesn’t get a pass just because someone else’s screw up is perceived to be bigger.

Garrett's story raises more red flags, because this is a man who couldn't even stay married/committed for 2 months after vows. And this is a candidate for Becca to marry. Becca is not marrying Blake's mom.

That is terrible! But don't you think if his ex had done that, he would have FOR SURE disclosed that and his mom too! What a story that would have been! Becca needs to get the ex's side of the story before she takes any vows with G.

I'm sorry, but I can't say Garrett's is worse because he couldn't even stay married/committed for 2 months after the wedding. If she was abusive or cheated, then IMO I see no problem with it. Unfortunately, IMO Garrett's SM likes have coloured how we view him. I think it is difficult to separate that behaviour from what we are seeing on the screen and unfortunately, I think the dislike stemming from that is clouding how many are viewing him.

I actually have a good friend who is pretty astute observing people. She is never interested about getting spoiled and doesn't do anything other than just watch the show, but this year she went to Europe for a few months and actually missed the start of the show and all the following bruhaha. She just got back last week and told me not to say anything as she was going to binge watch this weekend. When she called me earlier today she said she really likes Becca as the Bette and that she picked a great F3. She thinks that Jason is next to go and that while Becca likes and has chemistry with both Blake and Garrett, she thinks that she will pick G because they are both so giddy with one another.

Not necessarily. I honestly have no idea what these people are thinking since I would never talk about half the stuff they do, but then I also wouldn't go on this show either.


Sadly the lady whose hubby cheated on their honeymoon didn't find out about the cheating until a few years later. Seems he was having affairs right and left...although I would more appropriately call them one night stands. Hundreds of them. I have no idea how he found the time.
