It seems to me like really often the leads on this show are ready to pick up and start fresh in a new location. Ali? Jillian? DeAnna? Merideth? Trista?

As to the bolded, Ben says he grew up in Sonoma, about 30 minutes from SF. His vineyard is nearby, so he isn't really moving anyplace that is new for him.

I think Ben is settled in California for several reasons. I imagine J.P is settled in New York, but maybe Ashley being an east coast girl (her words) that location is a better fit for her right now.

I agree. I think Ben as far as work/location wise is more like Brad in that respect since I would assume he can't leave where he is at in CA if he wants to continue with the winery. On the other hand I would think JP has some more flexibility since he doesn't own the business where he works. Also, Ashley may prefer to stay on the East coast. I don't think that means that she can't/won't end up with Ben, but I think JP's setup is most likely a plus for her in comparison to Ben and Constantine for that matter too. But maybe she is looking for a change and would love to start her practice in CA?

Need to figure out how to see where she applies for license: NY or CA. LOL

Right, but wasn't he working one job, and making wine as a second job? So he gave up something steady to pursue his real passion. I wasn't really talking about location, except where Ashley's concerned, like so many bette leads before her. Actually, a Ben/Ash pairing would equate nicely to Ali/Roberto where they both moved to be together.

I have no clue how it all works out, but the possibilities are open imo.

Really makes sense. JP would be considered more "settled" (also being older) if we are analyzing that particular word used for a reason, than Ben F. imo - just thinking of possibilities & any clue. And maybe Ash didn't really mean much using those two words.."patient" and "settled"?

Ashley has a dance background , she teaches dance and minored in dance in college. The show has already showcased her moves in episode two, where she challenged the men to a dance-off to win her affections.

During her downtime from The Bachelorette , Ashley is teaching a dance class at the Maine Dance Academy in Caribou, Maine, according to Colleen Duplessie who runs the school. She told Hollywoodlife.com that Ashley was confirmed to teach hip hop and contemporary dance this summer. Between that and finishing up her dental studies , Ashley is certainly one of television's busiest women!
