Just read life & style on the web and it says ASHLEY is ENGAGED, and she is still with the person she choose.

Here's a sample of a posting from the DWTS thread at FORT. This poster knows alot about DWTS and posts frequently (with alot of substance). It's interesting to note that the poster DOES NOT watch The Bachelor/B'ette.

The whole thing with Ashley, if she's cast, will totally ruin my season. It'll be Melissa 2.0 all over again. If they're going to cast one of their own, how about one that doesn't come on with so much baggage? I don't watch TB, but from what I've been reading, she took a beating last week from some of the guys. If that continues, there's her sympathetic story line for the season. She's another Mya, who was also a choreographer, and I can hear the judges already: they'll swoon as though she learned to move like that in just a month, and hasn't been doing it for years. CA will cry and say it was magical, Len will say she set the bar and is a contender (not a pretender), and Bruno will leap from his seat, wave his arms, and give some sexual metaphor.

Is this what they're setting Ashley up for and was it the plan from the beginning? There are alot of questions about this season that come about if The B'ette was a means to an end for Ashley. Not passing judgement here or trying to be controversial, just asking questions.

Since there has been no reliable confirmation, just speculation, I am guessing she has not been asked. I realize Jake got on, but I am assuming that he blackmailed someone. Melissa got on because ABC screwed her and someone was making ammends - perhaps in exchange for her keeping her mouth shut.
There seem to be several bettes who would love to do the show.

I would see an offer for Ashley to do the show to be a sign that she either chose no one, or it didnt work out. JMO I dont watch DWTS.

There won't be confirmation until the whole cast of the next show is announced, Jelle. They try very hard to keep it secret although some of the names always leak out shortly before the show starts. ABC may push for her to be on the show because of the whole Bentley fiasco and how stupid/gullible it's making her look.

I do think Ashley has more dance experience than most although nowhere near as much as Maya or Nicole. I stopped watching the show because of them.

If she choose J.P then I agree with you. Unless, he plans on traveling with her.

I feel if she ended up with Ben then maybe the fact he lives in California it wouldn't be a problem either.

I just remember seeing Vienna in the audience every week and Jake's fake smile pretending to appreciate the fact she was there.

Agreed on all points. In any case, I think Ash is too sweet and sensitive to have a fake relationship go on for too long so if she and F1 are done, then it'll probably come out really quickly post-show.

However, Vienna had moved to LA, so being with the Fake every week, was not a logistics problem. Can't see JP leaving his company that long, so maybe he wouldn't be there every week, just night one and if she gets further than Trista did come back to be there for her. And Ben being in CA, would not be a problem to be there. no idea

I agree Gina! However, I remember a very handsome man sitting in a dark room with a couple of candles during a PI say that if he found the right girl "there is nothing we wouldnt do for her" (paraphrasing) I guess we will have to wait and see
