It doesn't make sense to me that Becca would know that Ross was coming. Fleiss wants real reactions and you're not going to get that if she knows. They had to have warned him off saying anything knowing that Becca would probably tell him not to come. Anything not real about it was probably the fact that they were on camera and possibly retakes. JMO

She may not have known he was coming to Peru on that particular day, but going by what she said about knowing he’d do this and him replying that he knew she would ... she had some sort of contact with him probably around the HTD’s.   This wasn’t an out of the blue coincidence that he just shows up. *IMO*

JMO, but I think the "I knew you'd do this" comment was made out of frustration, not in a "I was aware that you were going to fly out here" way. I've been in a similar relationship where every time I'd start to move on, that's when he'd come running back with a grand "I'll never let you go again" gesture. It was incredibly infuriating and manipulative, and I think that may have been a pattern Becca experienced also.

@Hawaii Girl You're completely right! Brittany did a podcast and she said that she talked to Becca, who told her that her ex would come running back and try to woo her every time he sensed that she was moving on. It is really manipulative and frustrating and you could tell that Becca saw right through him, because he had been doing this for the last 7 years. I'm sorry that you dealt with that! I got so angry on behalf of Becca, because it's such a cruel thing to do to a person. IMO.

@havadrpepper @Aria Thank you Luckily I'm FAR removed from that situation and I'm glad for Becca's sake that she is too.

I thought Becca handled the situation with the ex with class and she's not to blame for her ex's actions just like she's not to blame for Arie's actions (what men do is on them, not a woman imo).

I also don't see how anything regarding Becca's ex being on the show justifies Arie's behavior or actions... especially considering Arie's player and cheating reputation from multiple women and how his ex called it that Arie would have a hard time choosing just one woman before he even started filming (she knew Arie personally and the fact that she called it proves to me that Arie is someone who gets bored and moves on to the next thing). 

Not to mention, Arie being annoyed the ex showed up is nothing but hypocritical imo considering Arie went to see Emily and give her his journal while she was engaged to another man   Seems like this type of thing is just part of Arie's pattern and all he cares about is himself and not any of these women. jmo

Has it been proven that Becca had contact with her ex before he showed up while she was on the show? I don't remember reading that anywhere. Just trying to keep the facts straight.

I thought the contestants were kept under lock and key by their handler during the visit to hometown when not actually filming? Not sure how Becca could have contacted the ex during HTD

Nope, not even a shred of evidence for that. Just speculation IMO.

Ross had plenty of chances to get Becca back during the year they were apart before she was a finalist on ”The Bachelor,” and he evidently didn’t make that move. Instead, he waited until she was on national television about to get proposed to by Arie Luyendyk, Jr. before realizing she was the one for him. He then had “Bachelor” producers give him all the information he needed to orchestrate a high-stakes crashing of the Peruvian party to heighten the drama, get dumped, and make America fall in love with this down-home, perfectly toned thing he’s got going on.
