I don't think so, I don't there will be a backlash like some are hoping for. JMO

IMO Arie is in a no win situation with regard to social media. I "get it" that people feel he is being insensitive to Becca (but only, IMO, if they are spoiled and know that he is really with Lauren) but I can't recall him painting Becca in any kind of unfavorable or negative light on SM. What he is doing is sending subliminal messages of support for Lauren but really IMO he has no choice - if he were waxing eloquently on IG how great Becca is, how is that not being insensitive to Lauren? IMO he has to support Lauren if he wants to make a go of it with her.

I believe many people are seeing Arie "smitten" with Lauren and despite her "closed" character there are many people who see their connection/chemistry as the strongest among final 3 girls ... so him choosing her would be received positively, IMO ... the question is how will TPTB present the FRC choice and the reason for the break up after and what role is given to Becca in all of this. Becca has an option to play a victim card or stand strong and proud, but then again we indeed don't know how the break-up occurred and how did Arie take it or how will he play down his role in the short-lived romance.

I think at this point most see Arie as really wanting Lauren. And some will find him coming back to her romantic, I think an equal amount will find him wishy washy for not choosing her to begin with. To propose to the one you like less to get the engagement will not be a popular choice IMO.

I will speak for myself and say that I am not hoping for a backlash but knowing this franchise and tptb's love for drama (ratings) we can expect a twist at the end - they are building us up for it already. IMO, the only way to evade any kind of dramatic ending, now that we have seen how into Lauren Arie was, is to see him choose her at FRC and they will live HEA. Which would mean RS got it wrong and we were all fooled - the 4wheeling was planned, backyardgate was a ruse, all to throw us off. But, if after what we saw on HTD he chooses another, then he has to have a very good explanation for that choice and the subsequent change of heart back to the girl he should have chosen initially. I like Becca, I don't hide that fact, but I don't hate Arie, it's his life. But, I am reasonable, older and hopefully wiser - a lot on SM are not!! AMO

^^ I honestly don't think there will be an elaborate ending as many are guessing or hoping for. I think he chose Becca (not sure why), spent time with her post-show and realized that it wasn't a good fit, started thinking about the one that got away and contacted Lauren. Voila. Switcheroo. Jmho.

Just because some of us are predicting something doesn't mean that we're hoping for it. It doesn't matter to me how Arie & Lauren are received. I don't wish for bad things for them at all but overall I'm more on Becca's side and will be hoping for good things for her.

Switcherooing is Arie’s trademark imo, even while being in a relationship . There were no shortage of women then nor will there be after. An MO helps determine a person’s pattern and thought process. To me his exes have revealed that MO. The fact that he initially reached out to Lauren on SM works into that MO . What their future be is not of importance to me whether I’m right or wrong . Yup, just ready to move on to the next .

I'm wondering if Arie just wants to get it all out in the open and that's why he's looking forward to the finale being shown. I would hope that he'd talk to Jason prior to then. He may think that people will be on his side once they see the "love story" but I think he's going to be sadly mistaken.

I find I just can't stand the hometown dates. You've got 4 families getting involved when there's really only 1 or 2 who have a shot of being the f1. It was really tough on Tia. I can't remember the last time a f4 took it so hard.
