Do you think TPTB wanted Arie as TB more or did Arie want to be TB more than TPTB wanted him?

Went back through this thread to see if there were comments on Lauren's dad. What is/was his rank? Seems like he flew fighter jets for the Navy because he's based in VA Beach?

After what happened to Becca, why would she want to have Arie like her Instagram post? That would make him seem more fake and hypocritical to do that after his behavior towards her. I would give him some side-eye if he did. All JMO.

I wonder if the house used for HTDs was Lauren's parents house. I was trying to remember the house we saw at the "vans and Arie" visit to see Lauren spoiler. I know tptb sometimes use other houses to tape HTDs. I thought the spoiler house looked smaller.

It was their actual home. The house where the vans were parked was the neighbors house who reported to RS and took the pic.

What she didn't sign up for was getting engaged and then getting dumped in a couple of months to be replaced by F2. IMO not getting a rose, what she signed up for, and the "switcheroo" are two different things.

As @Tiggerlgh said, something like that already happened before, so you need to consider everything going into this show. There are no guarantees is life for anything. You can get married one day and then be dumped in a short while after that, that also happens without a show with multiple dating partners. Everybody knows that after this show there are few people with broken hearts. A don't think anybody did anything on purpose. If Arie could do it differently he would. I think he is as unhappy as anybody else about that.

Unfortunately to me his sm since the switch is not showing me unhappy arie but the opposite...imo he has been overly happy and this is what I can’t understand? He could show more compassion to Becca but it really doesn’t feel like it? It’s almost like he is putting the blame on her in a way? I can’t explain myself but basically he doesn’t seem like a unhappy guy who just did the unthinkable to his fiancé ... anyway I’ll repeat myself over and over until I’m blue in the face or proven otherwise but To me he is coming across as a self-centred douche who only cares for himself, and in a way has been caught in the act - jmo
