Lauren seems nice enough, but her political views are a real put off for me, personally.

Do you guys have any info on Arie‘s relationship with Courtney? I feel like I‘m out of the loop

For me its obvious that he is in this to kiss a lot of women but at the same time change his reputation (a bad combination though ;) ). He seldom listen to what the women are saying iMO, they talk and he starts licking his lips... That says it all... I wonder if he chose Becca because it would look good, she fits into him changing his reputation but in the end he broke it off to go be with someone he was more into... kissing?

Arie seemed to say in interviews he went with finding the right person rather than chemistry so to me he already was setting up why he would choose Becca and then dump her for the same reason. Thing is I don't see it lasting with Lauren even if she is the chemistry pick. I can see Arie trying to explain it all like he is all genuine about it but given the many women who have come forward and the rumors about him and his past if he did a switcheroo then he is just affirming the negative things said about him and he has no one to blame but himself for that. jmo

The one thing I read of interest is, Courtney said she and Arie dated up to about two months on and off before he became TB. This is when he was off and on living with and dating Sydney . Courtney snooped around Sydney’s IG and got called out. They probably didn’t know about each other . Maybe they will collaborate on another book

I know that from the RS interview, Arie's ex Sydney implied that Arie and Courtney are very close, and they also work together in real estate, so them spending time together is basically non negotiable from a practical standpoint. It seemed to be their undoing, as Arie broke it off after they had a fight about how much time he spends w Courtney.

I also listened to an interview Courtney did with Ben and Ashley I after Arie was announced as Bachelor. She said that she would have to take steps back from their "friendship" to allow him and his F1 a chance. She also revealed that she told him as much before he left to film the show, and he was basically like "huh. why? no it's fine."

I found myself wondering that as well. Becca is the marrying type, the girl that is good on paper. Wife quality. Beautiful but not too glamorous, sensible, midwestern, comes from a solid family, seems ready for babies, sweet and smart. Ticks all the boxes.

The sexual heat and chemistry may have come from Lauren and Arie could not get her off of his mind.

All my opinion of course. Some of us have been in that situation where we should be with a guy who is everything on paper and we feel it with little sparklers but the other guy has fireworks going off and that it one we want to be with and we can't get over. Then you question the relationship with Mr/Ms. sensible because the other one is constantly on your mind.

Arie is also Courtney’s landlord as he owns the property she rents. I personally would not be okay with my fiancé/boyfriend being such close friends with his old f$&@ buddy but maybe that’s just me.

I recall that Courtney told RS that sex with Arie was the best she’s had in her life. She also lives in a property that is owned by Arie.

Maybe they (Courtney and Arie) should just be together?

Yes, because when novelty and forbidden nature of the relationship is over, the flame will most likely die out. That seems to be his pattern.

Which was why I was so (pleasantly) surprised he picked Becca, who for all intents and purposes, seemed down to earth, accomplished career wise, and ready for marriage.

and then he dumped her and ran after the 25 year old blonde who looks exactly like his ex.
