I don't think the bubble prevents you from asking basic questions. Seems like Arie just can't be bothered. I was getting beyond annoyed watching him with Seinne, because she was trying hard to make conversation and he was acting like she was a stranger who'd walked up to him in a bar who he wanted to get rid off. The only thing he seems to be interested in is licking these women's tonsils. JMO.

Yeah, I don't buy the Bachelor Bubble excuse when 5 out of the last 7 Bachelorette are still with the guy they chose. It's not like those women were immune to the Bachelor bubble or producer manipulation. If you care enough and try to take this semi-seriously, you can ask questions and try to get an idea if the person you want to choose is a good fit for you. It's not a guarantee that things will work out, but you sure shouldn't be leaving the show engaged to someone you don't even know basic facts about and haven't discussed moving with.

Arie just doesn't seem to be good at this. He doesn't ask good questions, he responds to incredibly heartfelt revelations with a blank stare and some generic statement that doesn't fully make sense, and just seems to lack depth and be emotionally stunted. IMO.

Gotta say, if it weren't for this news I would never have made it through this season based on this episode alone. I just don't find Arie compelling, and I might be the only woman in America that hates to watch him kiss.

I do love me an age gap on TV, or an off-beat coupling, and this is kind of sort of like scripted TV these days, so I was all for it. He probably would've gotten less heat for picking Bekkah to date over what has now unfolded, sigh I'm not even joking. They're cute. Kinda hoping he cries when he lets her go so my shipper heart can sail a little longer But as for the new developments, I don't always shy away from controversial pairings, so we'll see..

The kissing part is cringeworthy for sure. He licks his lips and lets his tongue do the rest. On every girl he kisses . “ Like You know what I mean?”

Becca has every right to be furious although I have no doubt she will handle it with grace and class.  Arie is a puppet who is doing anything and everything producers want him to. It’s quite pathetic.
