She is indeed. IMO, perhaps she understood that per the creator MF, this show is a social experiment on dating. Perhaps she understood that it's best to give the appearance of remaining aloof while a man she's interested in dates 25+ women on tv.

IMO, it may be that Lauren came on the show as a distraction from a recent breakup, looking forward to a little travel and fun while pondering her future. It's possible Lauren didn't realize that some viewers would analyze every sound she uttered - or sounds the producers make it appear she uttered. It's even possible Lauren didn't realize until the show started airing that strangers / viewers would malign everything from her education to her ex-boyfriend's career path. IMO, its's possible this is the reason she moved from Dallas to be in a familiar environment while she weathers the SM storm.

Of course, all of this is just my opinion and I could be wrong. Either way I'll just enjoy the mindless entertainment every Monday night and look forward to reading various viewpoints here.

Side note: hearing Lauren talk about her parent’s marriage and being caught in the middle, hope her parents were ok with hearing that. That’s airing dirty laundry imo. Not to mention how it contributed to her trust issues.
Hearing her dad express himself the way he did is eye opening in that you can imagine what he’s like when pi$$ed off.

Arie's exes might be idiots, but that doesn't make his actions any more honourable to me or his character "marriage material". I know I wouldn't even consider dating a man with Arie's reputation no matter how charming they may seem. While I agree that trust should be earned, I'd prefer to start at zero, as in having no reason to trust or distrust, rather than -50, which is what I would consider multiple women describing him as a two(three/four)-timing lothario. Life is too short to waste one's time trying to build up trust in someone who'll probably just smash it into pieces again sooner or later. That's JMO though, and I understand there are plenty of women who are more optimistic, shall we say. Good luck to Lauren (You can do so much better, girl!).

I also heavily disagree with the notion that men are only faithful when after meeting the one. There are plenty of good men out there who manage to handle one relationship at a time, even if they aren't madly in love. It's called having basic respect for other people. JMOAA.

Simple reality is that Holland, where his parents are from, as gone pretty agnostic over the past half century. Most churches are closed or converted. For that reason alone (not to mention so many other signs) it would be surprising to me if he was religious.

Just got caught up on this thread. Her history of volunteer work is impressive, but she was not in medical school. Even if she did one year of a direct admit undergrad/MD program, she was at best a pre-med. There are tons of premeds who never make it to medical school. Lauren seems to many impressive things, but a medical student is not one of them.

Its that very behavior that lead to the switch, IMO.  He got bored and moved on, again IMO.  And I don't for a minute believe after 2 weeks with LB its true love and he's suddenly going to change his ways.  

Not trying to be negative, just realistic until he proves otherwise.  And if/when he does, I'll be happy to say he's changed my thoughts on him and give credit where due.  Until that time....LB should probably limit his SM usage and maybe check behind him occasionally to see just how many he's warming up on the back burner for when she bails or he's ready to move on.

How many times must Arie show who he is before people believe him?

Viewers (who are mostly women) always seem more willing to look the other way when it comes to the men on this show, especially if they find said man to be attractive and charming. It's kind of depressing. IMO.
