Bachelor 22 - Arie Luyendyk Jr - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Sean and Arie have been good friends for awhile. Some other things I didn't know on the list, like he was top 250 gross real estate agent in Pheonix. That's pretty good.

Re the picture. I looked at some caps of Arie and Lauren together and matched them up to the picture. I felt the height difference was too much considering she had flats on and the scap pics she has heels on. There's almost a 12 inch difference, less 3-4 inch heels. The picture is not clear, the forehead and hairline look different where as Arie's hairline has been the same for years.

It could very well be they met prior to filming and I'm looking at a picture that isn't very clear and is slanted. It's just not 100% for me. However I am looking forward to the story behind all that which might answer why they kept it from airing.

I don't think the hairline is right but am not sure.

Sean's mom is called Lovie by her family or grandkids (not quite sure) but Arie might be more confused by that.

@GuardianAngel Regarding height perspective. This is a pic of Sydney and Arie compared to Lauren.
Even if Sydney is about 5’2-5’3” , this can be a  perspective of Lauren if she was wearing flats like Sydney imo

I thought #25 was interesting. I didn’t know that!

If Arie had commented similarly about Sean's dad, I'd be in total agreement. One of the nicest men I've seen on my screen and don't think real life is very different.

Why Sydney said they broke up..
It was very emotional. You know, you’re trying to get answers and you can’t. I couldn’t really get a definite answer. I’ve never seen him cry, ever. I could tell that he was emotional, but there weren’t tears on his end.

Again this makes me think of what Courtney said. Arie doesn’t like
being call out or tears.
Between Arie choosing Becca over Lauren then Lauren over Becca, I think this might be a root cause. Both in their moment might have questions about the other but it’s not to say Arie wants to explain or get into things at that moment . JMO of course.

Personally, I don't think that photo looks like Arie. Just me. 
The show IMO shows a very limited flat image of the cast. This is done to show what they think the audience needs to see. Anything else goes on the cutting room floor. 
As far as men crying, not many men enjoy/relish being caught crying in public or in front of others. Many women are likewise. It's looked at as a sign of weakness in many professions and cultures. 
I can be brought to tears easily, especially out of pure happiness or joy. Meanwhile I know certain people I have seldom see cry. It's very individual. 
I've read emotional tears are supposed to be cleansing and cathartic.

Just in case there was question about the height difference between Arie and Lauren. Looks like a match in height to me. In the framed photo, Arie is leaning just a bit with his arm around Lauren’s back for the pose.

Wow, @docnash14 posted an excellent theory in the switcheroo thread which is no discussion.  I'd highly recommend reading it.   Many of us wonder what might have happened to cause Arie to choose Becca as F1.   Her analysis makes sense.  Maybe she could bring it over here?

Agreed. Really good insight. Though I will continue to say, don’t make a choice in this situation and definitely don’t propose. TPTB will give you hell, but the integrity to follow your feelings is equally important.

I still admire that JPG did not propose (the ILY stuff was a little silly) and I bet Nikki is grateful her husband was her first proposal.

I didn’t see Juan’s season Such a beautiful sentiment you expressed. Propose when you absolutely feel it and don’t ruin that moment for someone else if you’re not sure. I like it!

I am wondering since JPG if the contract has changed and that they have to pick/propose to someone now?
