Thank you for the clarification since you and others followed him closely since Emily season. I don't ever recall reading anything about Arie in a negatative way.

It takes two to tango. IMO If he was dropping them like flies and not treating them properly then I would imagine it would be in every tabloid.

I must say that Arie has a lot of positives. He's got money. He's had a glamourous career. He's well traveled. By all reports he's a nice guy, is self-assured, and has a good sense of humor. He has a good reputation among the long time BN fans. He's tall (6'2".) And by fan reports, he has sex appeal, which is something I crave from the lead at present.

I just want him to do something about his hair. Bat back most of the gray, get a better cut, and a better suit. All of that is fixable, IMO.

While I think he is financially better off than Peter, and that his career has been more glamorous, his life hasn't really been a straight shot of success, and that would have hurt his ability to accumulate wealth. But he clearly is resourceful, and his move into real estate shows that he is thinking of the future, given that many of his previous pursuits have a limited shelf life and won't be available when he is older. I would suspect he is "comfortable" but not "wealthy" in the way I use those terms, although everything is relative.

I kind of like the gray. But maybe that is my own age showing ;) I think he should choose whatever makes him feel true to himself. His best chance for love is to be as "real" as possible.

I'm with those that have said I just want a good lead that makes good tv. I have no expectations about whether this will end in a real happily ever after or in a 3 month relationship post-show. I'm pretty sure that Arie can deliver on that. But I'm taking his 'journey' as seriously as I took CS, JP, and Nick. JMOAA.

I agree, just give me a good show and make me believe it in the moment.

But I do think he is more serious about settling down than CS, JP or Nick were. While he has spent a lot of years with a playboy rep, he has also had some pretty serious girlfriends in his past, and was talking marriage long before he signed onto the bachelor (if I'm recalling old articles correctly). The playboy thing may have to do more with opportunity than preference. But only time will tell.

Oh, I'm guessing Arie will be a permanent fixture in tabloids now that he's relevant again. I remember his long-term ex, Cassie, giving quotes back during Emily's season how he needed to grow up and how he wasn't ready to be a father and that he shouldn't have shared about the miscarriage and so forth. We already have RS saying his mailbox is full and an article out about how he dumped someone two days ago. You don't get to be a Casanova like Arie without pissing off *a lot* of women. I love me some Arie and I am crazy excited about his season, but I'm under no illusions that he's going to settle down anytime soon or that he wasn't doing the same stuff that Dean was criticized for. IMO.

oh I'm sure RS's mailbox is full, and I believe everything he 'hears'    I just have a real hard time when people believe everything that he says is gospel, jmo.

RS loves dirt, doesn't care if it's true or not, just cares about the traffic it brings to his site.

Oh, I've already said that i think these Kristinas of the world are idiots. I think they refuse to see the signs and then play the victim when they realize that the guy was exactly who he said he was. My comment was just in response to comment about how Arie hasn't been in the tabloids and his exes haven't complained. The main one, Cassie, did in 2012 and a lot of theses "exes" (ex-hookups, whatever) are probably going to go now, judging from the ET article and tweets from girls like Sydney.It's going to be a messy tabloid season. I don't think any of this makes Arie a bad guy - he just seems like a typical hot player who is having fun, but I think the tabloids will paint him in a negative light. IMO.

What I hate, is that it seems like RS has started his own personal smear campaign against Arie, and
it makes me wonder... is he really that jealous of him.  Did Arie turn down or ignore requests to be
on a podcast?   Sure seems like this is a personal vendetta on RS's part, and unfortunately too many people chose to believe every word RS says.   RS is scum in my book.

Well, here we have real women with realistic expectations IMO. This is the place to be when you have a 36 year old, resourceful, high risk, experienced bachelor. Let's see him in action. Hey, players fall too. High quality, smart, strong, sexy and lovely contestant? He's tired of running by now. Catch him and bring him down! We'll be keeping score and cheering her on. All JMO.

Oh, for sure. He retweeted that reddit article that said Arie made out with a 16y/o that's now been deleted, because the mods couldn't get the poster to provide proof. And now you have people treating that like fact. He's just terrible and doesn't care that he's possibly ruining someone's life based on a rumor from a random, anonymous person.

And, no, RS's hatred for Arie predates his podcast. He's had this hate-boner for him since 2012. It's very strange. IMO.

My apologies, I should've said "alleged serial cheater." As clearly the girls could be lying, and all we have is their words.  I've edited my prior post.  

Being said, I still think there's a lot of red flags with Arie, and still believe he's going to have a very bad run in the tabloids.

IIRC, RS said something that wasn't true, and Arie publicly called RS out on it.

He was, and still is, the best IMO I think we may need a cigarette after some of his scenes, haha! - A La Peggy Bundy episode of her neighbour describing Elvis Presley!! Remember?? Such a classic!!

RS has a history of hating cast that refuse to spill whether it be the cast themselves, their family or friends. He also has a history of strong dislike of those that particularly threaten his masculinity IMO.
