Seriously max loss 16.50!! I think that's better odds than what Laura had??

New odds. This makes Will Byrne's statement earlier in the week that he still thinks Luke can win seem like nothing more than a last minute attempt to rake in a few more dollars from bids on a contestant he IMO knew damn well was about to be eliminated.  

For shame, Sportsbest.  FOR SHAME!

  Stu's odds are hilarious to me. He's a locked-in F1 if I ever saw one 

Now that Luke is gone, I totally believe Sportsbet knows the winner and always did and that their early odds faves before the season started pointed to Stu (NSW, 40+, Brown hair, etc) since Stu is the only one who fits.

I also believe that Sportsbet were playing the public by having Luke as the odds fav when Stu wasn't on the show and getting people to bid for him and thus making more $$$$. So shady

Correct. Max bet is down from $25 to $15. Stu is still at $50 max bet

TY @Sundy   I don't know what the reason is for Sportsbet to do that but definitely don't think James is F1 at all given his SM activity (pics he's liked, his follows, etc) so not sure why to lower his max bet?

Yes. It’s very strange. Not sure what to make of it just yet???  Did Elise and Tara’s max bets drop towards the end of the season?

@Sundy I can't recall but it wouldn't surprise me if so.

How does one calculate the max losses though? Max loss is the most telling to me for F1

I didn't catch James' max bet dropping to $15, but its now back to $50. In fact, all contestants are sitting on a max bet of $50. That said, even when James had the lower max bet ($15), his max loss would have bee $91 (based on $6.50 odds), compared with Stu's $16.50.

For an odds comparison from Matty's season, after episode 8, the odds were:
Laura $1.30, max bet $50, max loss $15
Elise $6.00, max bet $30, max loss $150

I'm thinking that Sportsbet is in cahoots with Ten and they played the betters this year to try make people think they don't know the ending (thus they can be like, but we had Odette and Luke as odds favorite and they didn't win) but they had Jericho and Stu as odds fav once they cashed in on the early odds favs who weren't even in F4! It's totally shady to me and given sleuthing for possible HTDs if James is F5 (based on what I've sleuthed I believe he's F5) then to me that for sure Sportsbet is raking in the cash and having a strategy to do so
