Bachelor Australia - Season 5 - Matty Johnson - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #3

Still on the Elise is F1 boat. I am not buying what the production is trying to sell. There are so many things that are really fishy with the whole Laura is F1 story. But it's sure entertaining to read all the comments here

I think I've put all Elise hope on the back burner like some of you!  (I do like Laura too tho, just adore Elise!)

I also get a clearer sense of Laura from this ep - I think the reason she rubs some people up the wrong way is that she's got that high nervous energy about her, talks really fast and stumbles her words because of it sometimes -- some people have a more embodied sensual energy like Elora, some have an earthier and calmer energy like Elise (and she's so sunny too!), some have a stronger endearing salt-of-the-earth energy like Tara, some have a wispy energy like Akoulina had... and I think Laura has a high nervous type of energy and that comes across as a bit mechanical and 'in her head', at the extreme can be perceived as a bit cocky as some have said, as opposed to someone like Nikki last year for example, who was sweet and had a more 'heart' energy, which made her so easily loved by the public.

Never ever in the whole time when I watched the Bachelor I witnessed a possible F1 being showed down the viewers throats like they are doing it with Laura. And I watched a lot of the Bachelor seasons, nearly all of them...the US version, the NZ version, the Canada version, the Ukrainian version, the Russian version, the German version and the Aussie version. I mean practically the production is standing there with a huge billboard where it's written "listen people Laura is F1". And yeah they are not going to make it easy like that. Because they care for ratings. What is the point of watching the show if even a kid would tell that it's Laura?!

Osher said that the channel have done a lot to prevent spoilers about the F1 and now they are the one who are spoiling their own show?! Yeah...not really. I think we have a foiler season here. So what changed in comparison with the other seasons?! Well the production learned from their mistakes and is now using their own IG and the IG`s of the girls to mess with the viewers. They also know exactly that the viewers are in the known after some seasons of their pattern for F1. So they mixed it a little bit up. The F1 music was played for Laura too ( the official twitter page even twitted about it) but she didn't had the new F1 music from the date Georgia/Lee date. Plus we are at a point now where they need to show a great connection between the Bachelor and his F2 to make the viewers wondering. But instead of these they chose to show the viewers how Elise is asking if Matty feels the spark. That is the opposite of what they should have done with the F2. And not to menation this really weird second single date for a F1.

Regarding the press and the social media thing. Laura is overexposed in the press like never a F1 have been before. And to add to that we have a potential "scandal" there because some press is reporting that Laura and Matty knew each other before the show. I mean that is huge if Laura is supposedly the F1. That is going to be one hot mess. The question is do the channel and the production team need that for a show who needs to redeem themself?! I don't think so. I think if Laura was F1 they would have stopped the press from printing that story. Then we have a radio show with Matty and a publicist sitting next to him in which they are shouting duing the whole show that Laura is F1. Mhmm interesting.

So what do we have next. We have a possible F1 who is aggressively promoting her business while the show is on air. I mean she could have waited for it until the finale was aired. If she is F1 she would either way get her portion of promotion anyway. Plus the channel is already heavily promoting her jewelry things. So why bother to do it now?! Because IMO she is not the F1 because she knows that after the finale all the attention is going to be on the final couple and a week later the attention is going to shift at the Bachelorette show.

And last but not least the way Laura is on her IG doesn't strike me as a woman who is in love and happy. Her vibe is more kinda bitter, sarcastic in not a good way and at times defensive.

All of course just my IMO.

I couldn't watch live last night but IA with everything @natik posted! This is one bizarre sm season... I don't know what's more obvious that Laura isn't f1 or that tptb are making out she is?

Anyway off to watch it now

Need to keep it in mind with the "wuv story"

We should get a new patch of SC tonight. It´s actually the only thing what keeps me excited for the new episode

Oh let me guess that's an easy one I mean the production practically handed it to us on a silver plate....Laura?!

Episode 12 Preview...the fact that Tara is shown saying she won't be surprised if Elora is sent home IMO implies that Elora stays so me thinks Lisa is out tonight.
