I'm kinda thinking Cupcake would be a good choice all things considered:  He's a fan fave from not too long ago, very easy on the eyes, reportedly nice guy, sensitive (cried on theCliffs of Mohr when Kaitlyn axed him), sense of humor(cupcake car), has a real JOB although that might be tricky to leave asap, was interested when the subject came up on twitter and "appears" mature, of an age etc that he'd be ready to propose to the right woman.  He lives in LA now so can be ready quickly .

Ha! Peter said no and now they're scrambling.
If I was one of the women on the upcoming season, I'd be upset. Thinking I might have a chance to date a "Peter", but get a "Robby" instead.

After reading the article It seems this is being based on MF Tweets, not anything concrete. It also says Peter was never their first choice as they were mad about what he did the Rachel. Of course, this is the opposite of what RS said when he claimed Peter has ALWAYS been their choice.

If its not Peter, they would probably get a B list actor or athlete like what the article says.

I might like Jack Stone, or Cupcake might be a fan fave, but once you have that nickname that kind of emasculating (serial killer, cupcake, whaboom) I guess its as good as --no way. I mean I do not want the Bachelorette to be called Scallop Fingers.

Peter looks like a rebel and someone they cannot control so they might get a b list celebrity.

IMHO regardless if he was popular to all, he was edited to be the Bachelor. I think tptb are not only scrambling to find a candidate for lead but are also juggling around the women who may well walk since he is not. All is jmo.

I may have missed it being mentioned here, but MF bought Julia Roberts property for $16.2 million last year in Hanalei, Hawaii. He's SO goofing around.

I'm seriously at that article. It makes no sense. A guy who wasn't your first choice turning your down sends you into panic mode? What happened to the guy who was option #1?

I'm still going with they've wanted Peter all along and he's playing hardball so they are panicking.

I guess MF may be vacationing at his new property and trying to manage this mess from there. Any potential candidates vacationing in Hawaii this week?

And it could be that none of this is true and someone has already signed a contract. 

And if it is true, why is MF tweeting daily with clues of who it is/ isn't and hints of where/when it will be announced? To make people think they've picked someone? Then in the next tweet "all options are on the table". Huh?!?

He's getting the response he wants by feeding the beast and it's working. And is he supposed to be on vacation in Hawaii?

Yes!! we may be able to get a season of Rashad Jennings! That would be awesome! Just wishful thinking on my part
