We'll see what Monday brings; our group observed that last Monday's episode harped on Arie's fear of choosing the wrong person as a possible clue to the outcome. I tried to find the FRC location by looking at Tacama's grounds. Then I looked around Cusco since grace has found Arie at that Marriott. The FRC doesn't take place at the Marriott's grounds, IMO. It looks like it's situated in a densely vegetative location, possibly near Macchu Picchu.

If that's the case, then agentcurls was correct that Arie's in his FRC both in the Cusco hotel and walking over sand dunes 500 miles away. The question is "Why?"

Not knowing Productions timeline, I'm guessing again that maybe there was a break after F3-F2 RC.

Also, can anyone tell me the timeline for Bachelor Winter Games? Was this announced last summer with the other shows? Are they not doing Bachelor Pad this year? I'm wondering something...

@veg_out  I think that the WGs were announced after the scandal last summer. I'm not sure if it was before or after they announced that BIP would actually finish filming and air a shortened season. I am assuming that BIP will be back again this summer. They haven't said anything and I haven't heard any rumours otherwise.

I found the release: BWG was announced in May. That's good news: I was wondering if TPTB cobbled this show together at the last minute to cover up a bad season. Remember with Ben's season that they transitioned our attention quickly to Emily as the next Bachette around episode 5? They may have done with with JPG's season, too. Anyway, I've found that when they try to distract us, it's because it's a disaster of a season.

As I said, it's a good omen for Arie, IMO, that this new show was on the books for awhile.

Hopefully, tomorrow's show will reveal the love story.

Interesting thinking, but I thought WG was a distraction for Corinne and BIP last year.

As for Arie, for me, nothing will save this season. Even if he pulls a Mesnick at the AFTR, I still don't believe his "I'm looking for a wife not a girlfriend" and "I want a wife and family"....    and I doubt we will be seeing a love story which is too bad since they are in my favourite city of Paris. If I remember the previews, MOT Jacqueline gets a single date. What a waste of time. I think she is toast on that. Then there will be a group date at the Moulin Rouge. I also thought we figured out that the 2:1 is also this episode which means we will be subjected to more stupid/fake drama with Krystal ... which I suspect will take up most of the episode. Even bigger waste of time.

Yes, I am feeling considerably better. Having a snow day and staying in my pj's .... like all of last week ... but at least I don't feel miserable anymore.

I hear what you're saying about Arie, and you may very well be correct. The good news on this episode: After this one, the girls left will be who we have to watch to see if there even is an F1. Maybe Arie is alone. Another way to look at it: Even if we've written off Arie or this season, we get to learn some more about some of the women who could potentially be the next Bette. Usually, the women do a better job as lead than the guys do. I am in the minority, though, who loved Ben's season because he was so malleable.

Not sure what to make of Arie's love story yet. He seems really intrigued by baby Bekah, but the age factor is there and then now Bekah has inserted herself into this drama with Krystal that is really showing her 22 years. Will this big flame with her & Arie fizzle out? We don't see any SCs of Bekah past Italy and that could be because there aren't any.

I would say he has a sweet chemistry with Becca, but Arie has been edited, imo, to be somewhat ambivalent with her, except maybe taking her to his hotel room in Ft. Lauderdale.
Things that stand out:
1) how far apart they were sitting together during doggy GD SQT & Becca asking him to kiss her.
2) Becca shown asking Arie for a hug on bowling date.
3) Arie has probed Becca about wants/needs/future and we don't see those conversations
4) no conflict so far- does it come later? And why?

Other than Bekah, as Chelsea's star is fading and Krystal is imploding, he seems to be pursuing Lauren here and there. We have seen them talking about needs/wants for the future in the edit. We also have Lauren saying something significant about her feelings toward Arie (but no ILY declaration) like several F1s' VOs in a season preview. And they have both presented a "problem" or fear that each could answer for one another....but is this presented too soon?

Which leads me to the whole "will I choose the right person" dynamic? Is there a chance this is a red herring for a basic season? A foreshadowing that he is either alone or made the wrong choice? So given these conversations he's having, it's possible he chooses Lauren but regrets not choosing Bekah, Becca, or maybe even Kendall instead; or he chooses one of the Becks but regrets not going with Lauren? But then there is always some doubt thrown in to create drama and makes things less predictable.

With the strange editing and Arie's game face, this season has me very confused. Maybe he didn't see a long-term future with any of these girls? I'm not sure what that says about Arie, since most these girls seem bright, mature, interesting, and beautiful.

I think this season is a mess from start to finish. The fact they went all the way back to Arie to get a lead....a guy notorious for his skirt chasing ways...hardly equates with the whole "I'm looking for a wife and family" they have tried to shove down our throats.

I can't see this ending with a happily ever after no matter what occurs at the final or AFTR ... if there ends up being a Mesnick. Not that I am expecting a wedding, just a few months post show and then the inevitable break up. I'm starting to foresee a mess like with the latest Canadian Bachelor and feel sorry with whom ever he ends up with.

Most of the girls seem OK...with a few crazy exceptions, that occur every season. I really think the problem stems from Arie. He was not who the girls were expecting and he has been a wishy, washy, boring mess of a lead. I will be feeling sorry for whom ever he ends up picking!

Well another fun evening with Arie! 

Paris!!! Apparently the ladies see love and marriage...I don't!

Krystal wants an apology from Arie and thinks she is wife material. Don't make me laugh girl.

I want to go back to Paris.. Looking all the places I went when there.

They arrive on some ship and go see the city. It is worthwhile to do.

Arie actually used AMAZING twice in one sentence...and then used it some more.

Having a sincere talk with CH  about how he is falling with more than one woman. Sure are setting up issues to come.

Along comes CH to visit the ladies...whose relationships are moving forward. 2 single dates, group date and 2:1. Krystal knows she will be on that date....nobody else is at her level. Please.

Lauren....Let's fall in love in Paris...and he comes to pick her up. Today will be very telling of their future she says. Hopes they both open up.

He is kissing her hand and then takes her on a little motor boat....as the others watch.

Meanwhile Krystal thinks he wants a woman...not a girl...and she hopes that Lauren doesn't get a rose. Of course she does. Always thoughtful and caring....that is our Krystal.

Next week the Winter Games start. A much longer preview.

And we are back in Paris with Arie and Lauren. He lies that he has saved this date for her. He is super attracted to her...who isn't he attracted to? OMG He used incredible instead of amazing.

They both look like they have a stick stuck up their a** as they are walking through the market. Lots of ladies and them talking about opening up and how they need to.

Notre Dame, Luxenburg Gardens. Loved it there!!! Spent a Sunday afternoon there relaxing and reading. A must. Awkward conversations between these two avid conversationalists. Even Dumbo knows the conversation is stilted. 

How can they both look so bored in Paris? How do you not find stuff to talk about in Paris? WTH is wrong with you people!!!!
