This is also a pretty compelling case for the storyboard being "leaked" preseason. DM says that the DT had a source and it must be TPTB - the phrasing such as "dark horse" is all them IMO. This story has also been planted in April before filming even concluded which is super weird and early to be calling a potential dark horse.

I think it's hard for TPTB to fully plan a season's F2 without seeing the rapport between the lead and contestant. And Cam (GL's F5) also said he was recruited and he is also based in Perth so that might be why there are so many good candidates from out West because they target quite well.

Yeah Perth people are tops It does make me wonder though how many if any of the serious contenders auditioned.  Even Laura said she didn't really watch Georgia's season IIRC.  I have this lingering suspicion that Matty had a hand in picking some of the girls - like maybe he trawled social media and gave them a shortlist of girls he'd like them to approach or something.  Combine with the talk of him already knowing Laura, Jen and Lisa and this whole season is feeling increasingly suspect to me.

There are no shots of the other girls' boards and no apparent attempt to show them off in the same manner as Laura's.  This all seems suss to me - IMO they are trying to draw attention to Laura's backstory which I'm guessing will be that she's had a broken heart in the past and is scared to open up but she will let her walls down so she and Matty can mend their broken hearts together and yada yada yada.  Classic F1 storyline, IMO.
