Peter Kraus - Bachelorette 13 - **Sleuthing Spoilers** - #7

I'm not huge on Peter OR Bryan. Pretty meh on this entire season.

This must have been how the Sean fans felt during Arie/Jef wars.

It's not what they post that help us determine who the  F4 are it's the date they go active again as well as pics from hometowns (prior to getting screencaps)  that helps us determine when all but the F2 when they are eliminated.  Based on pics during the season and other clues the board (not me) has done a great job of identifying contestants over the years.

ETA we have known the F4 for a long time but it's the F2 we are trying figure out so that is why their SM is looked at do closely.

I'm just really bad at explaining myself, I get how you use when someone got back on social media to determine whether they're F8, or F4 or whatever. What I don't understand is why what Bryan or Peter post after all filming is done and everyone is back is expected to be different from everyone else. Eg. when peter posted that pic of himself lying on the gym bench shirtless, some people on here were calling him self absorbed. Looking at all the guys social media, every single one of them has posted a solo pic at least once but their characters were not brought into question. Same things goes for Bryan, people claimed he was shading peter when he posted that pic that was slightly blurred. I guess what I'm trying to say is IMO people are taking the smallest things and using them to justify some of the biases they already have about a contestant. All is my opinion

It's human nature. IMO. Sometimes I am wondering if I am watching the same shoe/reading the same sm as others, because our interpretations are so different, or even opposite!  It could be fun but it could be frustrating, depending who your fav is, or how serious you take this show. Imo.
No matter what, I hope you enjoy your time here and share your thoughts with us

sdmom, this is so true for me.  I watch on West Coast time but can't resist checking in here beforehand.  It never ceases to amaze me and has for EVERY season I have watched and posted, that what I see at 8pm PST  IMO never
matches (good/bad/indifferent) what I read.  It is just human nature that we all see everything through our own prism of experiences and biases. JMO (and bias )

ITA agree about how amazingly different people's perspective can be. I've just read a lot of criticism about Peter's character and his authenticity over an IG "like", his distaste about the sloppy seconds comment and him reposting a picture of himself that a producer posted. It read more like a personal bias people had against him than an intelligent analysis IMO.

Based on Rachel's behavior, the rs spoiler, and editing I think he is obviously f2 and the next bachelor unless something dramatically changes. I'm not going to talk about the ladder but I do definitely believe he's falling for her IMO. Not everyone expresses their emotions through physical touch. I am one of those people. His facial expressions is what gives it away. His pupils are dilated, eyes wide and soft when they look at her. He pays close attention to her and gently smiles after she's said something about herself. This is why I personally have started watching the show. Amidst all of these grand romantic attempts mostly over produced, thought out and staged are real flawed and honest connections. It may seem like acting but coming from a former actor and current introvert like peter it isn't. He's into her. Sorry for the long post.

Sorry, I don't know how to bring over IG stories but I looks like his 2 friends were helping him move last night. Or at least bring his sofa into storage

Honestly, I don't like Peter very much. That's my opinion, and I appreciate, that on this forum I can express it. I don't need to explain why, but many times I, and others who don't like him that much or find his actions hmmmm worthy, do say why. I don't appreciate being analyzed to no end if it's personal bias or intelligent analysis, that I don't like him. It takes the fun out of posting, tbh. It's not that deep, if some posters don't like him. This all happens with many other Bach contestants, and trying to pinpoint why is just boring, IMO.

. Pretty much. We camped out in his thread all season and waited for the storm to pass.

I like Peter. I don't mind his social media behavior. I personally hope if he's not F1 that he's actually not the next Bachelor. I'm weird like that. Lol

I am wondering where he will be moving? He is all about his business at the moment and going in the road possibly soon maybe staying with family or friends..?

I've actually disliked contesants and then had the pleasure of seeing them again and again and again on my tv screen. I don't get the adoration but to each their own.

With peter I do get the adoration it's just not my cup of tea.
And I have seen some red flags as well. Which I have commented on. Nothing wrong with that imo.

We have to remember that this show is so highly edited that the edit can made us like someone and then the  opposite while only showing us one dimension.

The sm stuff has told us many a story in the past. And now also. Possibly.
So we here figure out using the clues from all angles not only the eventual outcome but what goes beyond the result.

Folks are often able to call something based on sleuthing and have it turn out to be true.
Sometimes not. But that's what we do.

@FashionLover and good posts. Hope that clarifies a little the posts and discussions taking place. Sorry if I'm not clear.

@Carine I don't believe he's said or indicated on his Worth IG page, yet. Will be interesting to see if any posts will give clues or state  during this long weekend...

Valid point!
It simply is the way it is, is all I can say. This is a mini example of what goes on in life. People scrutinize those in the bigger picture, not the the little people that don't matter to them. Example is current events.
