Peter Kraus - Bachelorette 13 - **Sleuthing Spoilers** - #7

IMO there is a level of judgement and scrutiny thats being placed on peter that I don't quiet understand. Maybe it's cause he was the biggest Bryan competitor? I don't know. Other contestants have liked comments about them and Rachel. They've liked pictures of Rachel. Dean was also in that deleted scene that was released, and he even voiced his doubt about Bryan when he went for his 1-on-1 with rachel but for some weird reason, Peter doing this exact same things somehow makes him problematic? So far, IMO I can only think of 1 comment that peter has liked that could be considered shady towards Bryan, and even that one is a stretch IMO. The way I see it IMHO, peter is being held to a different set of standards. If the other guys post, like or comment about Rachel, they're considered to be sweet and promoting the show, but if peter does it, he is misleading his fans and being petty. All is my opinion

@FashionLover usually the most scrutiny here is placed on the F2 everyone else are MOT guys. We don't pay as much attention to. Both F2 have received a lot of judgment and Criticism imo.

But imo Peter has like a few shady comments but I still think he is overall a good guy. I am still not 100% convinced who is F1. Hoping ' this weekend or the next episode or so clears it up for me.

Plenty of negative comments have been said about Bryan too. It goes both ways, imo.

@FashionLover I can say the same about Bryan. It's a matter of opinions, that everyone is entitled to post. Bryan has been held to different standards by being considered a player a smooth talkin Latin lover, went on a reality TV show, all considered by some not being serious or there for the right reasons. That's their opinion and their right to say so. It goes both ways, same as all the other F2's, it's no different this season than any other season and Peter is no exception. There is no weird reason, it's a matter of all our members are entitled to voice their thoughts. Peter IMO is misleading his fans and being petty becasue he's the only one, CMIIW that is liking comments which are negative to Bryan. Childish behaviour IMHO. Has Dean been liking shady comments about Bryan. What has Dean done post filming that confirms he is also shading Bryan, or anyone else for that matter?

Exactly. Dean is like a piece of lint on the season, the baby brother tag along. IMO personally, I never took him seriously as a contender and doubt Rachel did either regardless of what the edit tried to sell. He was a filler. So basically unless he did more than squeak, ehh, I ignored him. Pesky little bro.
The bottom line for me with this show is all the guys or gals are MOT except the F1. So what is it that gets them to where they are?
I seldom buy the baloney it was difficult choice between the F1 and F2.
In all the years I have followed this show and heard back story and BTS stuff, I have never IRL heard there was a close competition between 2 cast, unless there was really no choice between the F1/F2 and that has happened a couple times. Usually those cases have fizzled before or close after the AFTR.

Who knows this season. If ABC is promoting a foiler with Bryan as f1, I can see why the blog mentions of Peter would go away.

While most things are pointing to TOG being F1, I totally can see how the bolded statement could ring true, especially since Rachel kept saying during the promos that the viewers "won't be able to figure out who it is." (Paraphrasing there.)

Also, regarding social media, IMO I think there's way more analysis going into both potential F2s' likes. Perhaps I'm wrong, but most guys just don't place that much attention to the darn thing. Likes on specific comments, perhaps, but not generally. Again, all IMO.

I completely see your points and they make sense. But that is only if we are operating under the assumption that everyone who watches the show knows it comes down to peter and Bryan, which even though i'm sure many guess so , they don't know that for sure. So wouldn't peter and Bryan acting differently on social media compared to everyone else just give it away? I understand that there are sleuthing ways that have been going on for far longer than I've read this board but from a  normal viewers perspective IMO it would be suspicious if the two main guys on the show are just mute / bland on SM. all is my opinion

For years before social media was as it is now, it worked. It could work again if everyone, F4-F1 and lead complied. Everyone would have to agree to comply. TPTB could sweeten that and offer cash incentives.

I haven't read any of her blogs this season but IMO Rachel not mentioning peter would be out of respect for Bryan rather than her being petty, and I really hope that's the case because if either Rachel and Bryan are paying that much attention to peter on social media, especially since neither of them follow him, to notice the things he likes, then I would be side eyeing them too IMO  

I agree with you. I highly doubt Rachel cares enough to stay petty. She probably wants to concentrate on what she has right now. Besides, both Rachel and Bryan are not big SM users.

I'm sorry I didn't mean to imply that the sleuthing doesn't work. my bad. I know it does, I've been amazed by all the things you guys have been able to put together so far I'm just confused why peter and/or Bryan are expected to use their SM any more differently than lets say Dean does or even someone who went home on night one like Blake K. IMO if producers let ALL the contestants use social media as they wish (which I believe they do IMO), there is bound to be variation in usage, which in turn eliminates patterns, making it harder for people to pin point like "hey, this are the only four not doing this and that, so they must be the F4"

It's not what they post that help us determine who the  F4 are it's the date they go active again as well as pics from hometowns (prior to getting screencaps)  that helps us determine when all but the F2 when they are eliminated.  Based on pics during the season and other clues the board (not me) has done a great job of identifying contestants over the years.

ETA we have known the F4 for a long time but it's the F2 we are trying figure out so that is why their SM is looked at do closely.
