@Relalou I echo your sentiment. I honestly hate how quick to judgment people have been rushing to this case, throwing rocks at Corinne with absolutely limited and conflicting information. Moreover as a sexual assault survivor (I'm not insinuating that Corinne is or is not), I absolutely distaste and find it disgusting the level of victim-blamey language that has been thrown around on this particular thread.  No one should be in the business of determining what emotional/psychological harm was done or wasn't done. How do you know? I think we have crossed over a very dangerous terrain when we start determining what was the emotional trauma from being filmed while drunk just because it's Corinne or because she made the decision to get drunk in the first place or whatever else reason people have been coming up with.

Production should not have been filming this. It was wrong. Period.

I think we are all free to discuss the issue in this thread with our own opinion on the subject. This could mean some think C is a victim and it could also mean some think she is not. We have just as much proof either way. I don't know what to think other than it is a horrible situation no matter how you look at it. Not too smart for tbpt whether it was taking it too far with the filming or taking too much of a risk by having Corinne on the show.

I agree that it is a very uncomfortable thing to ponder these questions. I say 'ponder' because I don't believe that any of us are in a position to know all of the facts and everybody is going to have their own series of thoughts on the matter. I'm somebody that likes to think about things and talk about things, that's all. I know that I personally have one thought, then I think about it some more, and then I come to a different point of view. I'm being very honest here. I have conflicting thoughts.

I guess I only have previous TV Corrine to go off of, but to me she seemed very comfortable taking off her clothes and initiating sexually provocative activities. That's why I have a difficult time thinking that this harmed her reputation. People that watched Nick's season already formed an opinion of her, and nothing filmed for BIP is ever going to see the light of day. So, to me, not much difference in the court of public opinion. IMO. For me personally, I already thought she was OTT sexually IMO, but I guess I've come away from this thinking that she has a real problem with alcohol, needs to seek help, and make some big changes in her life. In that sense, I have a bit more sympathy towards her because I do believe she has a problem with alcohol. Hopefully this will be her big wake up call. IMO

It doesn't appear that she suffered any negative physical consequences from the heavy drinking, other than the black out state, and nobody can predict if that is going to happen (other than perhaps Corrine herself based on any prior experiences she may have had). So, to me, that wasn't harm done to her by someone else. IMO.

Physical harm from undressing and shenanigans in the pool? I'm not seeing it as much damages---especially compared to how bad things could have been.

Emotional harm...Yes, I stand corrected. I cannot totally know the emotional harm done to another. If it wasn't consensual, then I'm sure there is a level of feeling violated-by D, crew, and bystanders alike. (I guess, deep down inside, most of me thinks that it was consensual even if she doesn't remember it--but I do not know that for a fact. But, yes, that did enter my mind when weighing emotional harm). Emotional harm from knowing that her sexual escapades were filmed? While I do think it is totally disgusting for the crew to have filmed that (and maybe they just had the cameras running and before they knew it stuff was happening before they could say Cut), the thing is that she signed a contract to be filmed 24/7, so having her actions filmed should not be a surprise. And this is where the contract that they all sign may mitigate her claims of emotional damages. IMO. She knew she was being filmed. However, if she does have a drinking problem or found herself very drunk on that particular night, her judgment was impaired, and she may very well feel humiliated by her own actions.

Round and round again I go. As soon as I think I know how I feel, I find something else to think about. But, that just shows me how complicated and messy this whole situation is. And while I may never find myself in the same circumstances as C on BIP, I may very well find myself in a circumstance where I or someone I love is affected by some of the same factors. I actual find thinking and talking about this to be useful and eye opening and even educational. The older I get the less black and white the world is and the more shades of grey I see.

I doubt that WB will settle if they have proof to back up their contractural rights. If Corinne changed her story after the fact and witnesses prove that.....IMO Corinne could have action taken against her for false allegations. WB has a right to protect it's legal position and rights IMO.

Nobody forces these contestants to come on this show. They willing sign the contracts for $$$ and more importantly Fame. IMO  Some of the contestants are determined to act outrageously on camera so that they stand out and then try to profit from their outlandish behavior post show IMO.

If it pans out in the end that there is no proof on the tape that Corrine was a victim of assault, TPTB would be within their legal rights (IMO) to sue her for loss of revenue, HOWEVER, the fact that the employee filed the complaint muddies the waters. That complaint as I understand it is more about work place conditions exposing crew to obscene situations---which IMO is totally TRUE!  

What is sort of fishy with all of this for me is that the 2 producers who filed complaints about the incident didn't even witness it firsthand nor have they even seen the videotape footage of the incident (based on some of the reports that have surfaced regarding the incident). I mean how can they adequately file a complaint based on hearsay? How can the producers file a complaint about workplace conditions when they weren't even there at the time? I have a very sinking feeling that by the end of all of this that the 2 producers may be thrown under the bus. I can just see Corinne getting some sort of multi-million dollar settlement and the 2 producers will never work in the industry again.

I understand what you're saying but I really don't think CMIIW that anyone is deciding whether a woman or a man or Corinne has suffered any emotional damage. This can't be fun for anyone. This is a horrible situation.

We are discussing the events as they are given to us and every time another article is released it's more information which is opposite of what we previously read.

When I read an article saying she walked by other cast members and acknowledged them by name, yes it makes me wonder what exactly is going on. That's just one example. We have no idea what is fact or what is fabricated. We are basing our opinions on what we are reading.

It's a sensitive subject, no doubt. I actually commend every one in the manner their opinions are being posted. Some of us are seriously interested and maybe "sleuthing" based on what we are reading.

Daily Mail - Jasmine Did everyone already see that Jasmine went on the record? She was the one that walked by when they were in the pool.

Oh boy...this will probably not end well for Corrine if she is exaggerating this. I'm not so secretly delighted that that's what it looks like more each day. Not only will she get her comeuppance, but nobody was sexually assaulted in the process. Win win for me.

Honestly I'm glad Jasmine went on the record to defend herself, and the others. The other cast members are being dragged in and drug through the mud, with people questioning why they didn't do anything, and calling them all types of names because of their 'lack of sympathy for Corinne'.
