Or maybe she just simply is happier. She's in LA, which she loves more than Denver in her own turf, moving on to new adventures, meeting people and having fun. According to both her and Ben, they weren't happy for a long time together, so it's given, that she looks happier, like a weight is lifted off her shoulders.

Imo Lauren hasn't shied away from looking sad, expressing it, and trying to be honest. I don't see any big plan for her, or a big benefit from posting short ig or snap chat clips, with her smiley self. Jmo.

So I think that means Ben could go on dates and hang out with other females now? I'm not his fan, but I hate to see he's living in the shadow of this imo fake as hell ex called Lauren.

Ben if free to live his life like he wants. It's his choice if he lives his life trying to please his ig followers and fans. Lauren is choosing to be more open, IMO, and that's her choice too. Jmo.

Personally I would find it to be torture to have to publicly fake the relationship when in reality it was over months before the official announcement. So I'm not surprised that Lauren seems happier and lighter now that she can live her life as the single woman she is. I would think Ben is probably relieved as well to do his thing and not have to publicly pretend he is in a relationship when in reality rigor mortis had long ago set in.

Yeah, exactly this. I think they both should do as they please and neither should be dragged for it, but that's just my opinion.

Who cares? Serious question, what does it matter? What exactly is she suppose to do to show that she cares for his feelings? Stay home and knit? I'm not sure what you expect her to do and I'm not sure how you know how hurt she was or wasn't?

If it somehow makes you feel better to think Ben was the one who broke things off then go ahead and think that. I choose to wish them both well as they move forward.

No one is saying she needs to stay home and wallow, but going to a baseball game, putting him in her stories and tweeting a rose in reference to a tweet about him seems to have shades of wanting to rub it in Ben's face. If Ben were the one doing this, I think people would be judging him more harshly.

Also, since this is a discussion forum, I think it's not necessary to draw conclusions about what makes posters "feel better" etc etc. That seems a little personal. JMO.

I don't see what difference it makes in who's decision it was to break up other than trashing Lauren, if there is another explanation I'd like to hear it. The poster appears to relish in the fact that it was Ben who did the breaking up. My advice was if it made the poster feel better, then they can think so. Unless the poster has proof as to who actually wanted to split, they will never know. Therefore if it makes anyone feel better, then perhaps they can come to that conclusion. If you think that's personal, that's on you. If what you're suggesting that Lauren posting IG stories with this guy is rubbing it in Ben's face, then the same applies to him hanging out with his ex, shortly after the split, the one who was following him on SM.

Ben is not used to death threats and body shaming on SM. If he was judged harshly by some on SM then he needs to learn how to deal with it. If he was judged harshly on this forum, that is their opinion, their right to do so and it's not your right to criticize them. The situation IMO is slightly different because he was hanging with his ex, right after the split announcement after his announcement of his new podcast, after going to a concert with AshleyI, after his announcement of his blog, after his announcement Lauren took furniture, after his shpeil that maybe she didn't take all the furniture, after telling People that he was feeling so empty, sitting on the floor. Suddenly he came to life and was hanging with his ex who didn't post on SM but others did. Was he trying to hide something? Meanwhile his ex is changing her SM from public to private. I can see why he would get criticized at the time. If anyone moved on first, IMO it was Ben. That podcast had to be in the works while they were still together. Maybe he was getting his ducks lined up. Do does that mean he was dumped? Because he moved on first?

Like I said, both of them need to get on with their lives. Whichever way they decide to do that is up to them. They each have the right to do what they want. Their relationship is over. If Lauren wants to tweet out a rose for this guy two months after the split, IMO she should be able to. If Ben wants to hang out with his ex IMO he should and he shouldn't hide.

^^^ Yes @GuardianAngel, yes yes yes! If there is a real double standard, IMO it favors Ben, a hundred percent PLEASE. Since the beginning of Ben saying I love you to Jojo and Lauren feeling blindsided about it, IMO it was all Lauren who cant move forward and oh so perfect Ben who just had to deal with the situation. Lauren had more of the hate in this relationship. Since the beginning. **edited**

I really want to be fair to both of them, but I've been seeing a lot of discrepancy in what Ben shows himself to be in the public. His PR strategy is not working imo whatever it is. I'm not buying into this Ben kindness crap anymore.

She has been on the pedestal since day one, imo. She has been praised since the very first beginning, from how she played hard to get, how she was being indifferent to Ben mid season, to being cray post season, she got all the praise for being the most classy and real ever, all while Ben got all the blame, imo.

Ever after the breakup, Lauren was praised to speak her side of the story and being praised to date a guy, while Ben got crucified doing similar things. I don't know how Lauren got more hates?

There are multiple posts here writing negatively about Lauren, multiple writing negatively about Ben. If forum members wish to post positive/negative posts about either, I assume it's our right. Personally, if I read about Ben doing something I don't like, I'll comment on it, but usually, because I don't care for him that much, I don't post more positive stuff, I just leave it be. Whereas, I like Lauren, so I'll post more about the positive stuff. I guess everybody does that. You can't expect forum members to post equally about both Ben and Lauren. If Lauren gets more positive posts, maybe forum members who like her are more active posting about it.
When Lauren was doing her party girl thing at the end of the relationship, she got a lot of negativity, pages after pages. She's calmed down on that front, it seems, so has the posting, IMO makes sense. When Ben started to act like Imo an annoying *** right after the break up, he got a lot of negativity for it. Now that he has calmed down a bit, so has Imo the negativity.

Now, as for sm, Lauren has been dragged there much worse than Ben, IMO. She was straight up bullied, IMO, for months. She got hate for Ben's actions, for her body shape, for every little thing. If that has slowed down for her, IMO it's only good. Jmo

I always found Ben fake. Glad she dumped him **IMO** and moved on, she looks much happier now.

I'm sorry but how can you honestly say Lauren is on a pedestal compared to Ben? not being snarky just generally curious because to me, it's always been Lauren who has been hated on for every little thing she does.

I just can't buy the attitude that because I thought it was a bit annoying that Ben was hanging out with his ex (that really wasn't that big of a deal but it topped him being a complete azz for weeks on social media playing the innocent victim) when he never truly had any interest in being with Lauren long term after she completely moved her entire life to try to make it work does should NOT mean I can't be happy for Lauren who is having fun with a guy who actually doesn't seem MISERABLE every time she breathes.

Ben is fake and I'm glad he's finally being called on it.

I think they did carry their relationship on longer than what was actually there. I also believe other couples have done this and will do this.
In other words, this couple was not the first and won't be the last.
I'm glad for them they can move on and be free.
