I think Lauren is better off without him I think Ben was not looking for a wife just wanting the fame with doing hea bet it was his idea to say yes to that jmo

More than likely the couple has been a couple in name only for quite sometime. So any behavior the couple has had separately has probably been sanctioned by each other.
Just my own thoughts, but I would think it would be a sad sigh of relief to be on their own and the last thing especially Ben is probably worried about is the matching throw pillows and afghans.

The Disney hosting gig is weird though. They shouldn't habe accepted it if they've been struggling for a while and they know that a break up is about to happen, sooner or later. IMO, they should have stayed off TV after the disastrous HEA.

IMO at the time, it appeared they were really falling in love. No different than any other couple off the show. Things don't work out, differences are not negotiable, they split. But IMO that's not to say they didn't care for each other or the excitement wasn't real or to take away from the situation at the time. It's obvious they tried, otherwise they would have ended it months ago and not 18 months later.

IMO the so called last straw isn't because of Lauren's partying ways, but her partying ways are because of the last straw. Four-five months after speculating here there was trouble, is a long time to be together, while trying to make it work. Speaking from experience, once you've made the decision, especially if it's yours, and you have to live under the same roof for a specified period of time, the last place you want to be is home.

I've said it before, Lauren changed, and IMO it's because she knew it was over, but either he kept wanting to try, or they couldn't announce it until now.

Now that the announcement has been made, I'm sure families have all been told, they IMO will feel a sense of relief and can move forward.

I wish them both well, and have no doubt both of them will move on.

Not surprised. Neither looked like they were ready for marriage.

Having lived in Denver for 5+ years, IMO Ben is a classic douche.  Tons of dudes that look like him live in Denver.

I had to double check Sharleen's blog to note something that struck me while the show was airing. When Lauren met Ben's mom, this is what she said to her "How is it that I have fallen in love with this man, who's like, seemingly perfect?"

And in the LCD this is what Ben says, "Maybe it has been too easy, too perfect,  and the feelings were so immediate, that now I'm questionning".

Granted these could have been lines being fed by TPTB, however, the theme of perfection was and has been a recurring one - on the show and off the show, IMO. I think they carried the image of each other that they had on the show off the show and they didn't take the time to get to know each other. Or, they ignored the signs and they try to fit each other in a preconceived notion that they had.

I don't think Ben was ever his complete self with Lauren and vice versa. JMO.

It puts a whole new spin on all her silent IGs where she's just staring at her phone, like omg, maybe her lips were actually sealed (ty GoGo Girls) and she was acting out in silent protest. I'm sure she signed contracts with Disney that kept them "together". All my opinion luvs[/quote]

Briana guertler or whatever who was on nick's season and got sent home the first night commented on the @eandgpodcast Instagram post of them announcing Ben and Lauren's split saying: Ben back on the market.. YES PLEASE! <-- too soon girl, too soon. Especially being part of 'Bach nation' or lack thereof.

Ben I see as a CATCH big time for the right girl imo. Like I'm excited for the future girl who is going to get him. I don't blame the Bach Nation girls for being excited , but I'm guessing he's going to disappear into the background like Roberto and find love in his real life. Lauren is headed to BIP or to hook up with Bach Nation famer dudes off BIP but on snap 100% for her part imo.

IDK. Ben is a catch for a girl who wants a guy interested in malt-o-meal and pot pies. Nothing at all wrong with that. Just know you are getting that. You are not getting a guy chasing you around the house wearing leather crotchless leather chaps IMO. I could be very off mark. But excitement he is not.
Lauren is the gal who wants fast and furious and fuzzy navels. They are opposites. Nothing wrong with that either.
