What TPTB must also consider is who their chosen Bach will attract. Can you just imagine a house full of the type of women that like Robby or who goo goo ga ga over Luke Pell with his way of doing things? Wells is a sweetheart but I can't imagine him leading a season of 25 women with strong personalities.

Eric is lovely but will he bring in the ratings? Is that who the viewers want? It is about the ratings, plain and simple. I think even ABC executives will make that clear to Fleiss when the sponsors chime in. In other words, I think Fleiss is easily screwed this go round!

I'm usually more into the non-conventional contestants, but Wells does little for me. I hope they won't go with him. He's a decent enough guy, and sometimes even as funny as he thinks he is, but he just looks ill to me. I don't know if he drinks too much or what, but it's got nothing to do with his body type. I would struggle to believe that 25-30 gorgeous women are dying to marry him. The "regular guys" tend to make the worst leads as well, since all that female attention goes to their heads real quick. Though maybe Wells has been quietly practising during the past year. If James Taylor can attract all those desperate women then Wells shouldn't have a problem. JMO.

We can start dissecting many of the leads and their physical qualities. Not all of them are or were Adonis. BLOB anyone?, Jason Mesnick?They all had women fighting over them. Ugh--Jake. Ben F.
This season will be no different. Evan got Carly on BIP last year. Who would have thunk that? But chit happens.
This debate about the virtues of PETIocre are endless. There are those that love him, those that don't, those that care too much, those that couldn't care less. None of this is going to change anyone minds and shouldn't.
Season 2017 will happen just like season 2016 and those before, regardless of who is cast or who is not. Maybe ratings will be great, maybe fair and maybe piss poor. In the scheme of things, so what.

Didn't Wells have three women vying for his affection last BIP? I think he went on one date after the other with Ashley I., Jamie, and Shushana. About times ten that and you have yourself a Bachelor season? LOL IDK ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Kashathediva I'm the oddball (I guess), I don't care if they propose or not as long as it seems they are moving in the right direction. I really liked Juan Pablo. I loved his honesty. I love Dean's smile but if he isn't better in the role of TB than he is on BIP, that's a no go for me, too.

He had a whole cast including men and women helping to carry BIP. There have been many I didn't like so I therefore I didn't watch. I didn't watch this Ette...I can skip TB again, too although it would disappoint me.

I'm with you on this. I think endings would be a hell of a lot more interesting if it wasn't so routine to have a proposal at the end. For me a will they, or won't they (get engaged that is) would be fun to have.

It doesn't matter to me if they strip, dip themselves in melted marshmallow fluff and roll in jimmies and sprinkles. I'm not meaning to be snarky toward anyone. I seriously mean this.
I don't care what they do or don't do because I know it's going to be manipulated, crazed bullcrap. I know very little of what I am shown on my screen is what actually took place without prompting, scripting yada yada. JMO
But I am not the creator, writer, producer or editing team. So I don't have a lot of say with the show. I just get to sit back and have it flung at me.
There was one season and only one, I did not watch and that was because I had a feeling MF was going to make it a farce(more of a farce than the normal farce if possible) due to not liking the lead. So I boycotted.

Heck, I skipped 4 bachelor seasons (Ben F, Sean, Juan Pablo and Chris). Skipped 3 bachelorette seasons as well (Desiree, Andi and Kaitlyn). Although I will admit that I did watch ATFR for Chris, Desiree and Andi. As far as Rachel's season, I only watched the last 3 episodes and that was way too much Peter for me so I won't have a problem skipping this upcoming season as well if he is the lead...

I hate the thought of missing a season, but I would NOT watch if Peter is TB. Ugh, it was painful watching his scenes
with Rachel. I don't care to ever see him on my TV screen again. Pffffth.
