@ElonM I was so happy to see the new one too!! I said it the moment Peter was sleuthed to be on Rachel's season and I'll say it again...."Peter can have the roses...,he can have all the roses!!"

Plus your comments made me think, I read somewhere that she adores her baby nephew and Peter also have an adorable niece (I saw some cute pictures on his FB) That makes another things that they have in common. So yeah, maybe those gifts are for the futur baby

does anyone know if production picks out the gifts the contestant gives to the family or do they do that themselves? i've always wondered. and do the contestants pay for it or does the show?

@LEMONADE interested to know the answer as well,  noticed how sometimes they have flowers & wine, or just one of those things. It does seem llke Rachel/Peter have bought quite a few things.

I have heard both. I have heard sometimes the cast knows what to pick out from what they have heard the lead might like in a conversation. I have have also heard a production person whisper in a cast person's ear what the lead might like and then go out and buy it for the cast. So I guess it depends.

Thanks @Kashathediva would be more interesting if they let the cast pick the gifts, can give some info to the lead, if someone has really been paying attention..
