Nick Viall & Vanessa Grimaldi - Bachelor 21 - Discussion

If it's anything like Ontario, it's roughly $50,000/year depending on years of service. There are a lot of things that are much different in Quebec, so I could be out of range.

Any which way I look at it, it's so easy to make a bucket full of money plus she gets to model and wear nice clothing not to mention being gifted items she probably would never be able to afford.

I don't think she would even entertain earning US dollars at this point. Nick has mentioned several times they are going through the proper channels.

Yes, there were Louboutin shoes and Chloe bags, those things are going to be expensive. There isn't going to be a way to make those affordable.

I also went over to the site and agree with Kasha. Most of the brand items are affordable, imho. The shoes and bags, though expensive, are discounted. So, yes, they are bargains if you don't want to pay full price.
I used to be against shillings but now my opinion has changed. I ask myself if I will say no to easy money and free stuff? Probably not. So who am I to criticize those who shill? Besides, in Vanessa's case, she was a customer before so she has used their products and now she promotes them. What's wrong with it?

A link was provided here or in another thread to a podcast with Danielle M, Wells and James T earlier this week so I listened. The host in Nashville wanted to talk to V so Danielle M rang her. She surprisingly picked up. They spoke a lil French with her. It was a very short convo. V chatted with Danielle M initially and her make up was mentioned and her response was "I'm so f****** frugal. In that regard, her and Nick are a match to a Tee. I'm sure she loves the items she was gifted. I didn't get the impression Chloe bags and Louboutin shoes filled her closets. One of the items V wore on TB that Sharlene liked so much was so old, Sharlene could not find an identical match. I think V will love visiting his parents this weekend(hopefully while in town) and checking out his mom's restored furniture. Mama V is talented! I know I wish I had the gift and patience for it!

Bargain -a thing bought or offered for sale more cheaply than is usual or expected.
If she got that bag for less than it usually goes for it is still a bargain. I don't understand why people make so much noise about it.
Someone can buy a 2 million dollar house and consider it a bargain if the market value is over what they paid.

You guys I know that bargain isn't synonymous with cheap.  But if you're going to shill an outfit from the store, maybe don't go with a $150 top? Idk. Seems a little out of touch. JMO.

It all depends on what people choose to buy. Different tastes and preferences for different folks. A bargain is a bargain. If I always wanted a Chanel bag or an expensive top from Kate Spade and they have it for half the price then for sure I'll buy it. JMO

Yup! Most of the dresses she wore on the Bachelor which Sharleen ID'ed were less than $40. I may or may not have bought her 2nd 1-1 dress in two different colors coz I couldn't make up my mind.

I find it mind boggling that on a day when 'PrayForLondon' was trending, people were getting agitated in the comments section of her IG over a purse. My only concern with that pic is that she needs to be careful when she poses in front of buildings. Anyone who has lived or wasted hours of their lives in West Hollywood can recognize that complex. It could be a safety issue to post such pics IMO.

By the sleuthing that's been done on Vanessa, to me I don't think she bought that that Céline bag.

Céline is from Quebec and a very proud French Canadian. I can certainly see her being comped the purse considering she is the F1 on the USA bachelor show, and she is from Quebec IMHO.

There are a few comments from a PR rep under her photo with the Celine bag that state Tempt sells Celine bags for a fraction of the retail cost and that Vanessa got the bag from Tempt. Vanessa's caption does state that she got the entire outfit from Tempt as well.

Honestly, I don't care if she got it for free or paid for it. Who am I to judge? She has any right to spend her money the way she wants.
She has owned expensive bags (Gucci, Burberry) before going on the show (see her old IG posts) but she also wore some old dresses on the bachelor instead of going and buying everything new. The fact that she is a teacher doesn't mean she has to shop exclusively at f21. All IMO
