Nick Viall & Vanessa Grimaldi - Bachelor 21 - Discussion

Who is the girl that is with Vanessa? A friend I'm assuming? Sorry I haven't been following extremely closely. She really has an awesome circle if a friend is out in LA with her long term, just to keep her company.

I looked it up because I didn't think it's that easy to get a work visa. My dh got one a long time ago with his job but the employer has to apply for you and not all will do it. He ended up applying for a green card later and I was able to sponsor that which worked out well because he got caught in the big Telecom bust and lost his job. If he was sponsored by his work, we'd have had to leave immediately. If Nick & Vanessa end up marrying then it will be much easier for her to get a green card at some point.

Can you imagine if Nick and Vanessa had a drinking game for everytime media asked them about their "awkward" ATFR? I get that in this twisted world happiness is boring and drama sells but they have already IMO in their words and actions proven that the only thing awkward was the atomsphere and those intent on trying to make drama out of two people in a relationship who are in love but also acting normal and realistic in their approach to the relationship.

Also want to add that besides my obvious reasons for wanting Nick to last a long time on DWTS it would be fun to watch SHATner squirm and cry and complain on SM about it. Hoping Nick will feel the same and use it as motivation. Come Nick pretend the dance floor is WS face and foxtrot the hell out of it!

Nick may not last through next week if its up to Captain Kirk. He has 2.48M twitter followers.  I hope it backfires on him and Nick lasts at least a few more weeks and will be judged on his dancing and not by some hate campaign.

I just can't fathom that those who follow him tuned into DWTS for 2 hours and had alot of interest. His tweets can easily have the opposite effect, pizz a fan off and I'll not only vote online, text or any other avenue I have available, I'll grab every phone I can get my hands on. I'm sure he ticked a few professional (I'll call them) Peta fans off. His tweets can easily work both ways for and against him.

So Vanessa's shilling career brand partnership kicked off on IG yesterday and people are outraged at what she considers a bargain .

Actually, I just went over to the TemptBrand site and most of the stuff is really affordable. Earrings for 10 dollars? Shirts, skirts and dresses under 50.
Yes, there were Louboutin shoes and Chloe bags, those things are going to be expensive. There isn't going to be a way to make those affordable.

If "shilling" is what she's doing, then good for her, everyone else who has appeared on this show has to some extent "SHILLED" to get some additional income. The thing I like about this is if she was paid to do the modeling for this company, then she was paid in Canadian dollars so she is not voiding her visitor visa. Anytime a foreign visitor to the US earns income while utilizing a visitor visa they risking voiding their visa by breaking the law.

Many famous people (some much more well known than any Bachelor contestant) partner with brands for promotion and to me it all comes down to how, not if. I think that Vanessa has entered the post show arena with some of the most tasteful choices both with reference to the brands she has chosen and the timing of her support.

She'll make more $$ shilling than teaching Special Ed. Thats for sure. Sadly. Although I guess I don't know what teachers are generally paid in Canada, but State side, it's pathetic.
