Nick Viall & Vanessa Grimaldi - Bachelor 21 - Discussion

Late last night Kyle posted an IG video of Nick practicing a dance routine on the sidewalk out in LA with Vanessa watching him. It appeared the 3 of them were out hanging around together.
Kyle has said he hopes Nick does not leave LA and he runs Corinne's Nanny IG so I wonder how supportive he is of the relationship?? Hopefully he is a positive influence ...and not just about his bromance with Nick.
Nick not wanting to be famous and desiring to be a normal guy is hilarious IMO.

If Nick takes advantage of opportunities that will enhance his life/future in his opinion, it's the only way to go. There will be no what ifs? I'm just waiting to see what he likes enough to shill!

If part of the hostility/negativity towards Nick is that he's not back in Wisconsin or Chicago for that matter  selling software, his hopes of owning his own business will never be understood by those who sit on the other side of the fence, IMO. He's smart enough to take advantage of every opportunity. Maybe that's the problem. That makes him no different than any couple or human in the world. IMO, the biggest beef with viewers who dislike Nick... the opportunity to see him fall flat on his face and not get up just won't come.

I'm not a fan of every couple, but I don't dislike any of them per se. I just like some more than others. I don't spend time in so many other couple threads because it's hard to share my fandom with Nick and know my like of their couple isn't welcome or probably even read.  It's crazy but it is what it is.

So much like K. She wants a normal life, my butt.  In retrospect, K and N are a lot alike to me. They both got very well matched, supportive partners in the end  though. IMO.  Not many people could deal with K, Shawn can. Likewise, I don't think a lot of people could deal with N or V long term. Maybe they just might be that person for each other.

I don't want to get this thread locked on comparing folks/ couples but I totally disagree. This is in fact my whole big problem with Nick. If you want LA or whatever, just be who you are. K is an idiot sometimes but I find her genuine, nick is the least genuine contestant I've ever seen and a master manipulator IMO.

I don't even think it's like debatable at this point that Nick doesn't want the fame. We have almost 3 years worth of evidence proving he does in fact, want fame. That doesn't mean he doesn't also want love. Those two facts aren't mutually exclusive.

How do we know Vanessa doesn't want the fame too? She pretty easily seemed to be ok with LA. She dated a celebrity in the past herself. She has an IMDB profile and has dabbled in acting. 

Once again, I just see these characteristics as further evidence about how similar these two are. Not many people in the world could deal with Nick long term. I think Vanessa is the same way. I hope they can be the lid to each other's pot.

Not trying to compare, but IMO, what Robby H / Josh recently did were famewhore-ish, that is all the trashing others/club appearance/create drama at SM to no end. These are guys who want to be famous, imo.

For Nick, I think his is taking chance in this stage of his life, he's enjoying the opportunities he has given, BUT NOT trying to be on any tabloid by trashing others, nor stir things to create any noise. IMO.

Didn't watch Andi or Kaitlyn's season AND definitely don't want to get this thread locked but can you expand your view/opinion of Nick's manipulative and disingenuous behavior? Is that allowed in this thread? Still new and still not sure I understand all the rules...even though I've read them!

Yeah. I don't personally know him. But I know people who do. (We grew up in the same area, Nick and I). This is like my one real life kinda connection to a Bach nation member. I know a handful of people IRL who have really good things to say about the guy. Cocky is about the worse they can say for him. All of these real life connections, ranging in actual familiarity with him, think he's overall a good guy and want this to work for him.
