I agree it must be difficult for her family to watch and read the negativity, but I do think it's better if they just ignore it. Yes, it's hard not to defend someone you love, but h@ters are gonna hate. Whatever you say will not change their opinions so why waste your time? I always admire how Nick's parents have always been so classy and stay out of it. I feel V's family can learn from them. Anyway, someone should invite V and family to her fan thread here. We have a lot of nicest things said about her.

-IMO- The fact that their stories in the show are not all that rosy, RL questions on relationship before and after have been raised and covered between the 2 of them (before the show has ended)...this has made it all the more real to me...I feel like their stories are different...the feelings they have for each other are real...and the whole scenarios are not just placebos that have been created by illusions of the perfect romantic environment and settings...for Nick to spot Vanessa right on Day 1 saying 'she is a keeper' when she hasn't even stand out for most people is something only the beholder can feel, I bet Nick has felt some sparks after seeing her, thus giving Vanessa her most amazing Zero Gravity 1-1 Date...  -JMO-

To me if Nick wants to say the words," I love you", to only one person because he wants it to be special between him and the F1, then I highly doubt he would have sex with anyone, even Vanessa. JMO

Plus Vanessa seems to be a smart gal.  She knows that he asked 4 families for their daughters hand, then why even agree to go there until you actually know for sure.  Unless of course she knew she would be, but I'm not sure she still would do it till after the FRC.

This has probably been mentioned here somewhere that Nick did say that he may not go there with anyone.

Now this has been said before from the lead and their F1's that they used the time to just talk.  It's their only time with out cameras.  I remember Byron and Mary said they didn't trust TPTB to have a camera or mic's, hidden so they spent the night in the closet just talking.  Now of course they could have been lying.

Great post, I agree Brill! I know alot of people interpret "slept together" as being synonymous with having sex but especially in the show bubble, "slept together" is a very literal, accurate term. Just because they show Nick and Raven get in a bed together cuddling and most likely watching the Northern Lights doesn't automatically mean actual sex took place. Same with showing him in bed presumably the following morning with Rachel after their FSD. They have done those morning after shots for the past few seasons. I don't think it means the lead automatically had sex with every single person. TPTB are totally predictable in playing up the sex angle since this is Nick who brought up sex infamously at ATFR, had sex with Kaitlyn (at her lead) and it has been a topic surrounding him since at others fascination (not his). Of course they will want to create sexual suspense now hence that ridiculous Raven/no Orgasm stuff last episode. Obviously I wasn't in the FS with any of them so cannot confirm/deny but I am very aware of the tricks of this show with insinuations whether fact or fiction. JMO. He even voices uncertainty about how sex would play into the FSD and mentioned he wanted to maintain a clear head about it all. I am sure whatever did or did not happen I trust Nick  would not leave anything up in the air to drop suddenly at ATFR on his F1 (IMO Vanessa).

Nick's mom posted an open letter on her Facebook account while Andi's season was airing. It outlined the hardship the Viall family was experiencing in addition to her defending her son's character.
It was republished on several entertainment mag sites.

I can see a scenario easily where Raven outs him for sex, and Vanessa in the Josh role can't move past that.

I just think Nick would know better by now & despite(in spite) of Andi's encouragement to 'get intimate' with whomever he sees fit, that Nick will trust his own heart enough to only sleep with his f1. Thus imo would be leading with the heart over the body.
Also I go back to how confidently he said he did everything he wanted to - during TheBuild series interview. I didn't see any trace of guilt or regret during any of his interviews imo he seemed self assured and content with his journey.
Ita with 2. as well- it wd be a huge turn off to be told about the 1st partner, the big O. It wd be a blatant reminder how immature Raven is- it is something a teenager might say to their early boyfriends. Not a mature intellectual equal.

I don't think TPTB will go to the extend of lying to the public by cutting a clip from Kaitlyn Season...the ring at that time would have been returned to Neil Lane...

Did Nick not mention he has donated a ring to the Broken Heart Museum in behalf of The Bach...

I think Nick would have proposed to Vanessa...Vanessa may have held back waiting for few months further down to accept the ring...but, I feel like, it seems highly unlikely because Vanessa's rejection to Nick would have created a great impact on Nick's fear of rejections being materialized....

For Vanessa not being proposed to would illustrate Nick's uncertainties on his feelings for her....both actions will not generate any feelings of satisfaction to both of them...I feel like Nick still would have proposed, and Vanessa would have accepted his proposal...I think the proposal will be dramatic with both of them crying--with tears of happiness...

Good points.  I don't agree with it, but for a relationship to continue beyond the show it seems there must be an engagement.  Anything less could be interpreted as I don't care for you enough to grow this relationship.
