From the getgo I never expected Vanessa to stay in her current position or in Montreal or any of that (I even posted when it was said that Nick and her are so different that I thought they were the same, just like any of the other contestants) and I always saw that as a positive thing and not a negative thing. To me the contestants and leads are all the same when it comes to this show but what makes me like one over the other is based on how they treat people and how they behave, whether they own up to their flaws and mistakes or act like they are all that, and if they are grateful for their opportunities and they don't whine or complain.  

From the getgo I liked Vanessa because of who she is and and what I have seen so far, not because of her occupation or where she lives.

If she secures employment in the entertainment business, media or what have you, then her employer can process the necessary paperwork, which would be much easier. I listened to JJ's podcast with RS and he said something that I found interesting... he said that he and Tanner always say to each other .... if you milk the "tite" () until there is nothing left, losing all your followers along the way except the 80 you started with then you have lost nothing in the process. Because you just ended up where you started, with the same 80 followers who were there before you became fake famous.

I know that this is Vanessa's thread - but I thought JJ's comments put the whole shilling thing into perspective. He also said something offhand like he isn't even that important and if someone will pay him $1000 bucks to post a picture, he is going to post a picture and said and I am no Jade/Tanner or Ben/Lauren. Just crazy they can make that type of money off that stuff .... two pictures and I have a trip to the carribbean

So does anyone know if adult special education has the same strict licensure as teaching kids? Just wondering.

In any case, I really don't care what Vanessa's planning to do with her life. She can do whatever makes her happy, be it teaching, shilling or entertainment. I'm not sure what the talent agency signing proves though other than her being F1. Don't all the couples and many of the single contestants as well sign up for management these days? Seems like the norm, no matter what they plan on doing. There's a lot of people approaching Bachelor contestants these days, so better to have someone else sorting through the offers. JMO.

I would guess prudently it would have to be the norm. Don't they have to do X amount of promotion?
Secondly, like I mentioned earlier, each state in the USA will probably have individual licensure for special ed. So each state would have their own hoop to jump through.
In my own daughters' instance moving from NY to NJ--less than 20 miles it is ridiculous. I think she has more education that Vanessa. That is not to sling crap at Vanessa only to say you need a masters in many states or need to be working on this in order to get where you are going.

I couldn't agree more. I wouldn't care who called me names or who bullied me, I'd be posting copies of my bank account. I just know SM wouldn't bother me one bit. The issue is IMO, half of these people don't know what it's like to work 15 hours a day for years trying to make ends meet. Shilling to me is like winning the lotto. I'd be forever grateful to everyone who bought anything because of my little SM posts. What fun to sit all day and wait for more offers while you're clicking away other opportunities.

It seems like the shilling field would become oversaturated with everyone from Bachelor nation trying to get in on the act. They are going to shill each other right out of business.

After 19 pages, I don't think there's anything I could really add to RS's so-called big scoop. But cliffs notes - most boring and overhyped "drama" (shocker I know, RS overhyping something) and I still like Vanessa and Rachel just fine. So moving on...

Instead, I'll comment on this news of Vanessa signing with this agency. So now she's being judged for that - okay fair enough. It's the usual snarking everyone gets when they inevitably become part of the fame machine after the show. Even though of course we have no idea as yet what this even really means for what Vanessa will actually do.

That said, I'm with those who actually think this is a great sign. Just two days ago, some were absolutely positive she and Nick were done and there was no hope. The argument was that neither was moving (and again I'm not even sure what that was based on since we haven't heard from Nick and Vanessa about their relationship post show) so how would it ever work.

Well here it seems like she very well may be moving. And I agree with others that NYC is a perfect compromise/choice if that is indeed what they decide - it has entertainment opportunities but isn't as plastic as LA and it's not far from Montreal. Again, I absolutely get the cynicism because with this franchise and its history with the contestants, I can't blame anyone.

But it's not making excuses when many point out the real and logistic issues of Vanessa just switching to doing what she's doing in Montreal in the U.S. and the fact is, should she just sit and twiddle her thumb and do nothing? The point is, their situation requires one of them to compromise and move. Unsurprisingly, it looks like that will probably be her.

And naturally that means the work she was doing, she can't do it immediately so she's going to find something else to do. Seems reasonable to me. Also, regarding her doing it before the show is over - we're down to the F3, there's like two weeks left before this over. So it's pretty much done and once the finale airs, the interviews and media tour starts immediately. I don't think think it's too soon to do this. All my opinion of course.

FWIW I still don't think she's moving . I will gladly eat my words if she does. I just don't see it.

Its a one sided biased acoount, so I'm going to take 5 pts from Rachel, the fact that its being repeated publically makes me think Rachel is vindictive and probably did get some girls to side with her, so I'm tsking 5 more pts from her. I made a comment in the unspoiled section after first episode that there was something' about the lawyer who got the FIR that I wasnt sure about, so Im taking 10 pts off because my first impression was right IMO.

I like that Vanessa approached Rachel and wanted to talk about their conflict so Ill give her 5 pts. Vanessa was friends with Danielle M so I'll give her 5 pts. Vanessa has remained classy post show, so Im giving her 10 pts.
