A confident woman in her relationship with her future fiance is not a bad thing to me. Kudos to her for having every confidence and reassurance that Nick wants to be with her. More power to you girl! JMO

I think it is a natural concern for any "regular" couple dating that don't live in the same city. However, I will say if you really love each other, it can work out.
I went to college in a place I never wanted to. I met my future husband there and his work was there and had to remain in that town. I was not a happy camper, but made the best of it and he traveled M-F., so he was not even home during the week.
We lived there 12 yrs. No family within hours of us. Then we moved across the country.
If the relationship is worth it, I think you can make it work.

I don't see Vanessa as entitled, just honest about her feelings. Why would you even accept a proposal from someone who you didn't think saw you as special? I'd have no time for a guy who only saw me as marginally more appealing than others. That doesn't mean I think other women don't have their merits, I just want my forever love to be something special. JMO.

IA @mindless and asking three other sets of parents for blessings, is not something special to her.

I'm glad it's a big deal. Hopefully future leads will be as creative as Nick was. I wonder if he insisted on that.

 I actually thought the fact they brought this up so soon shows that everyone involved realizes how serious it is with these two. They were all thinking beyond the show and what this really means. 

RS's sticking point with these two has always been Nick will never move out of LA and Vanessa isn't moving either. And now the show has also highlited this conflict. By discussing this conflict on camera as an obstacle, my guess is this conflict has already been resolved. Honestly, I think Nick will move for her. If not Montreal, I really think they will meet halfway and compromise "in Nick's favorite city" (seemed intentional to keep that in) NYC.

Maybe it's just me but Vanessa's HTD proves to me that RS is wrong. Had no one mentioned the living situation and glossed over it during Vanessa's HTD, I might have still assumed that N&V probably didn't bring it up till FRC. But now after that HTD, there is no way they didn't discuss it before FRC - her sister even told him they need to discuss it before that final step.

IMO If they got engaged in the end, they had atleast somewhat of a resolution when it comes to their living situation. All JMO.
