I dont remember where I read it but her friend said she was dating a guy from another part of the US for 4 yrs on and of and they broke up early last year. I think I read it in in touch mag.

Some of the attributes which she said she is looking for in a guy are confidence (but not to the point of being cocky), ambitious and someone who isn't insecure.

IMO the third one might have been a problem for her in past relationships. IMO A lot of men are intimidated by a strong successful woman even in today's world.

For me, the lead never chooses wrong. They choose who they want and if it doesn't work out, it's all lesson learned, and part of their life path. Looking back, I can't think of anyone who should have chosen their F2.

I believe that Rachel said that having a long distance relationship ultimately became a breaking point. Both she and her boyfriend had busy careers and time together was hard to come by. I believe Rachel wants to find a forever relationship. Hopefully she has some good options to chose from who are looking for the same forever. It would be nice to see her find the one.

Actually if there is one thing we can take from his 4 times on this show and Nick's own words while reflecting on his time on this show - imo - it is that he knows very very clearly what he wants hence - Andi and Kaitlyn and his "Type" - strong outspoken woman who challenges him but one thing we do know that even he repeatedly doubts his ability to make the ultimate pick i.e. knowing what he needs. He's admitted many times that he was so so sure of his decision to propose to both the women on bette and in retrospect (again 20-20 vision) it was very much the wrong choice for him. This in my opinion is the clearest insight we have about Nick > that he has a very particular type of ideal woman but he doesn't really know what he needs vs. what he wants. IMO this bach season is his journey to learning the difference and clarifying actually what he does need.

I think the want v. need is a very valid point. You often don't know what you need until the answer magically slips into its slot.

^^ When I see this clip, I basically see Bachelor veteran Nick, giving his newbie friend Rachel advice for how to let herself go and fall in love for NEXT season. It's like friend to friend, one lead to another advice for how to run this thing when it's her turn.  I just still don't see much beyond friendship and mutual respect with these two.

A lot of the unspoiled audience, friends that watch the show think that Nick and Rachel have a lot of chemistry, and some even say they like Nick more when he is with Rachel and were so mad when they announced her because they thought it will be between her and Vanessa at the end. I see chemistry between these two.

I am noticing the same thing, everyone who I speak to or see on comments who are unspoiled say either his strongest chemistry is with Rachel or Vanessa. Most people seem shocked that Raven made it this far. I see a lot of people on the comment of that video by anna marie saying that it doesn't add up because Nick seemed to be into Rachel the most, many people insinuating that TPTB had something to do with Rachel being let go at F3, even a few video recappers I watch were highly upset that ABC spoiled it because they thought she was a get contender for F1. I do see the chemistry and Nick said his chemistry with Rachel was the most explosive than with any of the other women, and if I were unspoiled I would definitely think Rachel would win. However I think Nick made the best decision for him, and I think Rachel is happy that she gets to embark on her own journey, so I think it all works out in the end IMO.

I also see the chemistry and I would have thought that it will be down to Rachel and Vanessa as well
